World War I brought many changes to society and to foreign policy. For example, women were at work when men were out fighting the war. Also the Germans tried to from an alliance with Mexico by sending the Zimmerman Telegraph. Promised them that if they help them take over the US they would get the land they lost. But it was intercepted by British intelligence and got send to the US and this is was made the USA enter World War I. During the World War I the USA was very isolated and stayed out of everyone’s business. It took a lot for the USA to enter the war, they didn’t want to enter. They were still trying to build their country they didn’t want any problems. But now, the USA is in every little thing that is happening in the world today. I really think that being in every countries business is a bad thing, because they are just looking to get in problems. We just have to worry about us, I mean that Is something that we learn at a very young age. The USA went through many things during and after the “Great War” good and bad. Changes in society with women rights and economy. And when the USA entered the war. Also by being isolated with the foreign policy. We can all learn something from history, we don’t always have to go through things just by learning we can understand from other peoples

The United States wasn’t part of the conflict in Europe until Germany
However, the WWII was not a war that just for Americans to involve themselves. There were numerous events happened before and during the WWII. The Germans awaited the British on the other side of the trenches which tested humanity. The French, Germans and British all came to terms with the idea that to make progress in the war that open warfare was not necessary. Unlike the United States, they used open warfare in 1916 and their re-entry in 1918. Because of this tactic, far more Americans died than expected straining society. The Americans helped drive the wedge to progress the war and after the war the United States emerged as a global superpower.
Germany provoked the United States, which eventually made U.S enter World War I, also known as the Great War. After World War ended in 1918, Wilson proposed (which was eventually passed internationally) the Treaty of Versailles, mainly punishing Germany and preventing it from causing future wars. The United States entered war, which made it official that they were, once again, involved with foreign affairs, disregarding Washington’s advice to not be involved with other countries. “The great rule of conduct for us in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible” (Washington). However, once Word War I was over, the “public opinion favored a return to

The Effect of Women on the Outcome of World War Two World War II effected women tremendously by taking them out of their comfort zones and chucking them into the work force and pushing them to do most of the work men normally would have been doing. The war also effected women by providing opportunities for them to serve in non-traditional roles; in fact, some of them enlisted into the military to serve the United States. The way the war effected women is that they had to take care of family in addition to performing work normally done by men. It was difficult to find people to watch after kids which made life during this time very difficult. After the end of World War II society in general was effected considering the baby boom.
World War I impacted the the economy, political power, and the social structure of
World War I was an exponentially increasing war in tragedy and death. It established the positions of each imperial power and how they stand amongst others in battle. The events leading up to the war cannot compare to those that occurred during and even after this horrific war. However, it was truly the conditions of WW1 that fueled the entrance of the United States into WW1. The United States was justified entering World War I on the side of the Allies in 1917 due to three fundamental conditions: the type of government, the alliance system, and militarism.
As women became more involved their ability to further improve their societal standing increased as they gained more power through reform. Women became more involved in the workforce. They were paid more, better protected, and more well respected. World War One showed the nation that women could fill the role of men and produce on a level that made them important. Women also changed the progressive era by focusing on the welfare of the poor and low class.
America had tried hard not to get involved in European affairs and conflicts, but with our growing connections it became hard. Businessmen saw the opportunities and profitable advancements of Europe, which brought a large number of American 's overseas. Great Britain was a major trade partner with the U.S, so we were indirectly involved in their war. The Germans started sinking any British ships that came into view of their Unterseeboots, even if they were passenger or fishing vessels. When
America intervened in World World I as Germany prevented Britain from transporting goods to the United States. Even after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, America continued to enter wars such as World War 2 and the Cold War. George Herring said “The most glaring deficiency is that in an extraordinarily complex was there was no real strategy. President Johnson and Secretary of Defense Rober S. McNamara provided no firm strategic guidance to those military and civilian advisers…” America had switched a “Broken Window Economy.” which meant that many leaders believed that by joining these wars and collecting debt, they would benefit society, but in reality, they did not. However, these wars did help to push America out of the Great Depression and begin to boost the economy again.
After WWII, society took a drastic change for the better in America. America had just gone through the Great Depression, which was the deepest decline in America’s whole history and everyone was affected. Numerous people lost their jobs and were no longer able to afford basic necessities like a house, food, and water. Many could no longer support their families and had nothing. This was all in result of the market crashing, sending the economy into a downward spiral.
The United States continued a policy of isolationism up until World War 2. In conclusion, World War 1 changed American society, and foreign policy. American society changed as so women gained the right to vote, women gained more jobs. One thing that happened during the war was the Great Migration, which was when over 6 million AfricanAmericans moved north.
