World War I brought many changes to society and to foreign policy. For example, women were at work when men were out fighting the war. Germany did many things to make the USA to enter the war after being threaten by Germany. In World War I we were very isolated to other countries. I will be talking about these three topics today. World War I changed society in many ways. One way that World War I changed society was that after men came back from the war the women did not want to go back to being the house hold wife. They wanted to work like men did, because women were working when men were at war. Also after the war women were given the right to suffrage, or in other words the right to vote. Also the Germans tried to from an alliance with Mexico by sending the Zimmerman Telegraph. Promised them that if they help them take over the US they would get the land they lost. But it was intercepted by British intelligence and got send to the US and this is was made the USA enter World War I. During the World War I the USA was very isolated and stayed out of everyone’s business. It took a lot for the USA to enter the war, they didn’t want to enter. They were still trying to build their country they didn’t want any problems. But now, the USA is in every little thing that is happening in the world today. I really think that being in every countries business is a bad thing, because they are just looking to get in problems. We just have to worry about us, I mean that Is something that we learn at a very young age. The USA went through many things during and after the “Great War” good and bad. Changes in society with women rights and economy. And when the USA entered the war. Also by being isolated with the foreign policy. We can all learn something from history, we don’t always have to go through things just by learning we can understand from other peoples
