On October 09th, 2015 at approximately 5:30 PM, I, Investigator James Poffel was the on-call investigator and was contacted by dispatch in reference to responding to The Days Inn for a call of a kidnapping that patrol officers were out on. Officer Wilkins was the officer originally dispatched to t hat location and was on-scene awaiting my arrival. I spoke with Officer Wilkins while I was en route to his location. Officer Wilkins informed me they were sent to The Days Inn, room #104, at 900 S 32nd St to check the welfare of a subject by the name of Kayla Blevins. Dispatch received the call from Kayla’s grandmother, advising Kayla was being held at that location against her will, for a $1,000.00 ransom. Officer Wilkins and Officer Dean arrived on-scene. Kayla stated she was held against her will by a guy named “Nubs”. She said she does not know his real name, she just knows him as Nubs. He is an Indian male with part of his arm missing. It is missing from approximately his elbow. Kayla went on to say she was at a house on 17th St visiting Tammy Walker. Tammy later drove Kayla to the Catalina Motel, where she went into room #107. In room #107 at the Catalina, she was assaulted Nubs and Rocky Butler. Nubs hit Kayla several times, shoved her, and pointed a gun at her. Nubs had a small silver pistol and with that pistol he would press it against her head. He would use the barrel of the pistol to jab into her stomach, ribs, and legs. Nubs threatened Kayla that he was going to shoot her knee caps. Kayla went on to describing the abuse she endured. She said she was choked and pinned to the ground at some points in the altercation. At some point Nubs pointed the gun at Kayla’s head and pulled the trigger. Either the gun was not loaded at that time or it something happened because it did not
The suspect was identified as Nicholas Reynolds. The witness was identified as Matthew Carmon, who is the brother to Olivia Reynolds. Matthew Carmon placed the 911 call reporting a domestic dispute at the resident. Carmon stated that the couple had been arguing around that morning and Nicholas decided he was going to pack his belongings. According to Carmon, Nicholas packed his belongings and he had apparently grabbed a bag that was Olivia's.
JOB KNOWLEDGE Search Warrant Planning & Procedures Officer Penrose has been a member of the Red Team since October of 2015. He has learned what is expected and required in regards to this area of the assignment. Officer Penrose has planned 24 search warrant operations during this rating period. He is familiar with what is needed in a search warrant entry plan and what areas are likely to cause problems or concerns. Officer Penrose plans for most of these problem areas and informs me of them during his planning phase.
James King, a twenty-three year old man, is charged with felony murder during a store robbery. The victim, store owner, Alguinaldo Nesbitt, was supposedly shot with his own gun that was purchased and licensed by him. In King’s court case, at least one witness admitted to seeing King in the store. “Bobo” Evans states that King was the one to shoot the gun in a wrestle with Nesbitt. In addition to that, Lorelle Henry, a bystander, identifies King out of a lineup and pictures.
REPORTER: The reporter/mother (Jackie) called with concerns for the victims, Cheyanne and Savannah. One Saturday night (2 or 3 weeks ago), the mother went through Cheyanne’s phone and saw inappropriate pictures and a video. The reporter said Savannah took the pictures of Cheyanne in her panties and bra. Also, there was a video in the phone where Cheyanne was penetrating herself with a hair brush.
On 5-20-16, Bridget and James were apprehended in a wooded area in Citronelle, AL. Bridget was considered to be a runaway from Lucedale. They both were taken to the police department. Bridget appeared to be intoxicated on drugs. She admitted to having sex multiple of times with James.
I responded to 716 Longfellow to take pictures of the damaged room. Sgt. McMichael also responded. I met Davison at her house. Davison stated that the only suspect that she can think of, is Cameron M. Williams (DOB 05/24/1991)
14-year-old Konerak Sinthasomphone was found drugged and fully naked in the street by two 17-year-old girls. They called the police in a panic. When they ended the call, Dahmer ran up to them and told them Konerak was his 19-year-old boyfriend, who had been drinking. They did not believe him. When the police showed up, they bought Dahmer's story and handed Konerak over to him.
Witnesses from the motel testified that they heard shots being fired, and saw a white car leave the scene. The police responded to the crime scene, saw a white car and pursued it. After a car chase, the white car crashed into a fire hydrant and two men fled from the vehicle. After a search on foot, the police found and arrested Love and Grissom. In the course of their search, the police found two handguns and jewelry in the area, all stained with blood.
On June 5, Aruban police detained Nick John and Abraham Jones, former security guards from the nearby Allegro Hotel which was then closed for renovation, on suspicion of murder and kidnapping. Reports indicate that the two former guards were known for cruising hotels to pick up women, and at least one of them had a prior incident with law enforcement. John and Jones were released on June 13 without being charged. (Disappearance of Natalee Holloway, 2015) On June 9, 2005, Van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers were arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and murdering Holloway.
12- 19- 2014 somewhere around 2400 and 0600 hours I Det. Scott Demeester was dispatched to 1710 Madrona Street. I was called in to investigate a homicide case. The victim was discovered tucked under a sheet in a vacant home in Atlanta Georgia.
On this date worker visited Mr. Johnny Hyde at Devita Dialysis Clinic, for the purpose of informing Mr. Hyde the department had received his bank statements from First Bank of Jasper. Mr. Hyde wanted to know what charges showed and worker explained to Mr. Hyde the multiply charges on the account that matched with Mr. Joey Hunt's Facebook home page. Mr. Hyde stated, "I knew he stole my money and I want him arrested. " Worker explained she would give the information to Walker County Police Department.
The men went into the trailer to get the keys from Charles when minutes later the men were running out toward the car while Charles was right behind them with a butcher knife in his hand. They left the trailer park without her car and went to the sheriff’s office to report the incident with the hopes of an arrest to be made the car to be returned to Vickie. Instead, they were told that there was nothing that could be done and this was the last straw. It was then that Tony gave the .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol, the murder weapon, to Vickie so she could defend herself if things continued to escalate, though Vickie did not try to return home and instead decided to remain at her mother’s house, leaving the gun on the kitchen
Sabrina Aisenberg’s Disappearance Case Sabrina Aisenberg was only months old when she disappeared from her Florida home back in 1997. Her disappearance has remained a mystery in which her whereabouts is still in question. Days after Sabrina’s disappearance, a couple of leads led Hillsborough detectives to believe that Sabrina’s parents Steve and Marlene Aisenberg had possible involvement with the disappearance. However, no legal action was taken for a lack of evidence to support foul play.
The fourth most recent missing person on the list was Alma Nesbitt. She was also one that was not listed in the missing person database on the NamUs website. This is because her remains were found in a shed on her property. There was no need to search in the unidentified bodies either due to the remains being found. With further research through the Google Search Engine there was a couple websites that were found with information on what happened to Alma Nesbitt.
On 4/12/17 at 2230 hours I was monitoring traffic on the 100 block of S. Main St. A male exited his vehicle and informed there was a male walking in the middle of the road on State Route 924 near the transfer station. I went to the area and located the male walking alongside the road near the Gold Star Plaza. I pulled my patrol vehicle in front of the male and made contact with him. I asked the male if everything was ok, the male stated he was out for a walk to get away from his girlfriend. He and his girlfriend had got into an argument over money, he is having a financial hardship.
