A successful team needs many components to be successful. “La Vida Robot” and Steve Jobs are both great texts. Steve Jobs is the biography on the life of Steve Jobs. “La Vida Robot” is an article based on the story of the Carl Hayden robotics team that beat the MIT team in a national competition. Joshua Davis and Walter Isaacson, authors of “La Vida Robot” and Steve Jobs, give details on what makes a good team. While Davis feels that a strong team needs a strong and motivational leader, Isaacson shows that a strong team prospers when team members have a connection. Davis, author of “La Vida Robot,”, feels that in order to have a successful team, someone must act as a motivational leader and inspire the team to keep going. I don’t think the Apple I would be so successful if it wasn’t for the great bond both men had. For example, Jobs states,” I was a little more mature than my years, and he was a little less mature than his, so it evened out” (Isaacson 209). A big reason why Wozniak and Jobs were able to work great together was because they were both deeply interested in technology and their levels of maturity evened out for each other.
