Lab safety violation results in 5 day suspension

Today in Mrs. Schroeder’s 1st period science class John Doe violated lab safety precaution numbers 20 and 11; When the class was using Bunsen burners John’s clothes caught on fire! Safety rule number 20 states, “That no loose fitting clothing or jewelry may be worn.” To add to his troubles John did not report the fire to the teacher but try to put it out himself. Thus violating rule number 11 which states to report all spills, fires etc. Luckily his partner acted quickly and told the teacher. Without his partner John might have end up burnt to a crisp. Kids, always remember how to use lab safety equipment and know where it is located. This is a perfect but unfortunet
