The diction holds a contrast between Sammy’s immature teenage mind and his intelligent opinionated views towards the concept of conformity. Though Sammy’s diction may be initially viewed as juvenile, his expressive behavior proves otherwise. Altogether, Sammy’s observant and opinionated nature leads readers into a deeper meaning. His descriptive manner and decision to speak against authority exposes the intellectual perspective of his personality.
In Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep there is an unclear separation between humans and androids. Even though empathy separated android from humans, androids Rachael Rosen and Roy Baty expressed empathy, and Phil Resch demonstrated a lack of empathy; therefore the novels suggests that humanity lacks empathy and that androids are “human.” The brutal treatment of John Isidore and Resch’s lack of feelings demonstrated that humans had a lack of empathy. Since humans “don’t treat [him] very well,” Isidore relates to the poor treatment that androids receive and is willing to hide them (Dick 150).
The classic book Flowers for Algernon, which was written by Daniel Keyes in the late 1900’s, explains the story about a middle-aged man named Charlie Gordon and the struggles he faces from having a mental disability. Charlie Gordon worked at Donnegon’s Box Company, but while working there, he was made fun of and called stupid for something he can’t control. Charlie had a wish for all people to love and accept him, but couldn’t understand that there is always going to be someone that wouldn’t like him which made him feel unwanted and unappreciated. Throughout Flowers for Algernon, Daniel Keyes develops a theme of self-acceptance to explain how people shouldn’t change themselves to fit in with others.

In the “Stop the Sun” by Gary Paulsen this is shown to us through the character of Terry Erickson. Terry is a thirteen year old boy whose father has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Terry 's father had fought in the Vietnam War and the PTSD he has causes him to have flashbacks of the war. Terry Struggles to find out the cause of his father’s disorder, therefore he is unable to accept him.
It taught me that strength and perseverance can make a significant impact in life. I also learned that forgiveness and the ability to forgive is much more powerful than I ever realized. This novel sucked me into the story and its characters and took me on an emotional ride of highs and lows. Finally, it forced me to reevaluate my previous judgement of the homeless.
Ray Bradbury’s short story “The Veldt” teaches readers that too much technology can have a bad effect on people. In the story, the Hadley family lives in a Happylife Home which has machines that do pretty much everything for them. The machines make their meals, brush their teeth and tie their shoelaces. There is even a nursery for the children that creates any world they could imagine. In the end of the story, the nursery and the family take a turn for the worse.

Ray Owens, until she met the Boatwrights family with the housekeeper, Rosaleen, and stayed with them. The Boatwrights family are the three black sisters who are August, May, and June. This novel took place in Sylvan and Tiburon, South Carolina, where Lily grew up and where she found the answer to her questions.
1. Analysis The novel, Wonder by R.J. Palacio, delivers many obstacles overcome by the young protagonist, Auggie. Many themes can be found in this novel, but the most prominent is the power of how family and friendship help Auggie adjust to new situations.
