Nag is a Cobra in ¨Rikki-Tikki-Tavi¨ by Rudyard Kipling. Nag rules the garden in terror with his wife Nagaina. When Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, a young mongoose, comes to the garden he tries to stop Rikki by killing him. In these next few paragraphs I will prove without a doubt that Nag is sly, logical, and harsh.
First, Nag shows he is quite sly when he meets Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. While his wife delivers a mortal blow from behind, Nag attempts to distract him by giving an intriguing comparison,“You eat eggs why should I not eat birds?” (19), He shows he is willing to use a two-part plan and not do everything by himself. Nag is always careful to keep his plans in strict confidence when he knows his enemies are around.
Next, Nag gives us a glimpse
His thought on helping Irish families by creating a meat market derived from their children shine a light on the nature of politicians and their policies. He essentially challenges the politicians “ I desire those politicians who dislike my overture, and may perhaps be bold to attempt an answer, that they will first ask the parents of these mortals whether they would not at this day think it a great happiness” (854). With this in mind, he creates a thought that shows that the greed of the landlords and the politicians interest would lead them to do anything to protect them and sacrifice morals to achieve what they want. His entire argument is based on the idea favoring the rich who could benefit from such delicacies as a metaphor for their habits of ruining the many to protect themselves or their own
He wrapped himself around a bucket. Rikki-tikki jumped onto the back of his neck to paralyze him so that he could not strike at him. He had killed Nag. The resolution is when Nagaina had found out what happened to Nag. Rikki-tikki had destroyed all of the baby eggs but one.
Nag (she) and Nagaina make. She always needs to make the plans the way she think(s) will be better (best) for her and she’s considered to be “wicked”(19). She has told Nag what to do such as “go in quietly and remember that big man who killed Karait is the first one to bite”(21) carelessly without
‘Oh, look here! our mongoose is killing a snake!’ This is important because it shows rikki tikki tavi being brave and saving teddy from Karait the theme i thought of was rikki tikki being be brave, i chose this because throughout the story all rikki tikki has done was help them and brave. The theme of the fictional story Rikki-tikki-tavi by Rudyard Kipling is to be brave and have courage to protect the ones you love. Evidence Rikki’s character traits (pg.21).
For example, Nagaina was shown telling Nag to kill the family living in the bungalow, so she, Nag, and their children could live without the threat of a mongoose around (para 54). Thus, Nagaina has her family’s faith and reliance to keep them out of danger. This loyalty and willingness to kill for her family’s safety is one that Rikki Tikki shares with Nagaina. In addition, Nagaina said “Son of the big man that killed Nag, stay still. I am not ready yet.
The story of “Rikki-Tikki-Tavi” is an amazing story written by, Rudyard Kipling. The story stars a mongoose, named Rikki-tikki, and a married couple of cobras. Their names are Nag and Nagaina. Nagaina, in the story, is the brains of the plan for getting rid of Rikki-tikki and his family. I am going to talk about Nagaina and why I think she is protective, quick and cruel.
Some people believe that Nag and Nagaina are the victims of the story, but they are the unquestionably guilty characters. But, Rikki did attack Nag and Nagaina’s unborn snakelets. While this is true, they were killed for the future protection of the family that Rikki loved. For example, Nag and Nagaina were conspiring to kill the family that took Rikki in, so Rikki killed Nag before he was able to harm anyone. The character shows that he is a caring creature, wanting to protect Teddy and his parents from any danger.
From the story “Rikki-tikki tavi”, by the great author Rudyard Kipling, there is a cobra by the name of Nagania. In the story, Nagania has to learn how to fight her own war after her husband Nag is killed by the mongoose Rikki-tikki. Rikki-tikki is not going to let Nagaina and her family rule this garden. As you read the story, you learn and see how Nagania is ruthless, unforgiving, and protective of her ground and her life.
Rikki was pulled under by Naganias strength. She was slamming Rikki against the rocks, but Rikki wasn’t going to give up, he held on with all his might. All of sudden, there was a cold breeze near Rikki and then rock came tumbling and whacking Rikki off Naganias tail. Nag’s ghost said, “Nagania and my son will live and they will rule the garden “Nagaina will die just like you she shall never see daylight once I am done with her!”
It is also the fear instilled in him that drives him to obey Abner. The third person limited omniscient point of view of Sartoris Snopes conveys the
Famine and drought have combined with the flu epidemic and later disease. The struggle to keep their animals and themselves alive is a constant worry from Cima and her father. The threat of dehydration consumes their days and available energy; so when Hig arrived in his plane, they had no choice except to protect their limited resources from the unknown intruder (Heller 177). The same all-consuming desperation is also true for Hig. While he abandoned the house he called a home when his now deceased wife and child were still living, Hig desperately holds on to the little normalcy in his routine that remains.
Domestic violence is a fast growing worldwide phenomenon which expresses through physical and psychological abuse of the victim by the violent side. As part of it, there are men who abuse their women in different ways, who can be categorized as "Pit-bulls" or "Cobras" by different features. In this essay I will present differences and similarities between the two types of abusive men. On the one hand, "Cobras" and "Pit-bulls" are very alike when it comes to decision making, because they have both chosen a violent pattern of aggression and abuse in order to deal with marriage or couple conflicts instead of using other ways such as: using more verbal communication with their women, getting professional help from a marriage/couple counselor or putting more time and effort into working marriage/couple problems out in a creative way. But, the two types make a full aware choice of turning to violence and abuse as a solution to problems, they do have different ways of expressing it, but the decision to turn to violence remains the same.

The theme of the fictional story Rikki-tikki-tavi by Rudyard Kipling is, when it comes to having to fight someone bigger, and maybe physically stronger than you, it's all about how much heart you have.
Why I think that makes her dangerous, is because she won’t give attacking somebody until she has accomplished her goal. ”Now I have Nagaina to settle with, and she will be worse, than five nags, and there will be no knowing when the eggs she spoke of will hatch. Goodness I must go and see Darzee” ,he said. In the story Nag is most most the characters call Nag one of the worst snakes, so if Rikki-Tikki say she will be worse than five Nags that makes her very dangerous.
He was seeking revenge on the snakes, protecting the family never crossed his mind. As the story states, “’We are very miserable, ' said Darzee. ‘One of our babies fell out of the nest yesterday, and Nag ate him.’ ‘H 'm! ' ' said Rikki-tikki, ‘that is very sad --- but I am a stranger here. Who is Nag? '”
