Summary of the Odyssey
Odysseus fought in the Trojan War. Poseidon didn’t let Odysseus come back home because he said that he fought on his own but Poseidon helped him. The suitors were in the wooden horse and it was supposed to be a gift for the general from troy but he didn’t believe the soldiers. They were all in the wooden horse and the general decided to take it into the city. The soldiers got out of the horse when everyone got drunk then the trojan war occurred. Poseidon then was very angry because after they won in the war Odysseus started saying he did a good job by himself and no one helped him but Poseidon is the one who came up with the wooden horse.
