My partner is Cathryn Cusano, she has lived in Easton, Pennsylvania throughout her entire life. Cathryn has a love for softball and has played ever since she was a little girl. During Cathryn’s senior year of high school she had multiple offers to play softball for elite colleges in the area. She started out having an amazing season, the team was also thriving which eventually resulted in them making it to the playoffs. It was the first round of playoffs and Cathryn was on first base, one of her teammates was up to bat. The first pitch is thrown and it’s a ball, the second pitch is a perfect strike down the middle and the batter slams the ball to center field. Cathryn takes off running for second base and her knee gives out she falls to the
As a handicapper general of Sisler High School, it is my duty to ensure everyone in this school is equal. No student is higher than the other. For example, it is my job to make sure Kamryn Mendoza is equal to the rest of her peers. I have to eliminate her off her special advantages and help her with her weaknesses. Kamryn is musically talented.
On May 20,1996 I was born Damione Freeman growing up in a small city named Pell City. Growing up wasn't easy for me father was never around just leaving me with my mother. As a child I was always happy, caring, and well mannered. When I turned five I started living with my grandmother, Dianne Freeman and my uncle, Akeem Freeman. At the age of five I was torn away from my mother because of her husband and his issues.
camryn klemoff narrative one day there was a girl named emily she was a very tall girl. she was about 6ft tall and was in 6th grade. After playing softball for eleven years, I injured my back during my junior year high school season. It was my first season officially on the varsity team, therefore my devastated me. Although I was greatly saddened by this, I still stuck with the team. I went to every practice, game, tournament, and team dinner. I kept score at every game and helped my coaches with anything they needed.
Senior year is winding down and three things that has been on my mind lately, one of which is UChicago. As I am artsy fartsy and I have written a crap poem to showcase my love for UChicago. Will anyone read this? Probably not, but I will share anyway and probably change some of the wording and add it to my quality blog (Grapesofcontentment.tumblr.com; high quality) University of Chicago To my dearest love, I pardon that my deep affections towards you are unrequited, And that you have many fine suitors that beseech you as well, As my love for you is immortal; an inevitable consequence of Your profoundness, your passion, your splendor, and intellect.
The softball team has gave me unforgettable friendships, the ability to play with such inspiring athletes, and has given me skills that I can carry on due to coach Sal. The first year I had started on West High’s softball team was sophomore year. I remember going to the try outs, feeling awkward, due to me not being close to any of the girls since we were twelve and eleven. All the girls that were my age, the ones I was friends with when I was younger, were all on varsity. Since it was my first year back as a Falcon, Sal placed me on JV.
When I think about the person I am today I think about the people that have helped raise me. We all grow up with different experiences, environments, lifestyles, and people in our lives who help shape who we are. One person that has made a big impact in my life would be my nana and her name is Bea Wilson. She has been in my life since the moment I was born. My nana has shown me that you can make something good out of bad situation.
People know that Stargirl is different, Stargirl teaches me that being myself is perfect. She wears different clothes, she meditates, she does what makes her content and from my knowledge teenagers don’t usually do those things. In a way I am a Stargirl, I don’t do all the things that Stargirl does, because I am different in my own way. When Stargirl came into the cafeteria, she was different and stood out.
A hero is a person that takes time out of their everyday life to help a person in need. Katie Birrenkott, my older sister, is my hero. She is 24 years old, graduated from college, and back in her hometown to pursue her dreams as an independent woman. No matter who it is, she will be there for anybody.
This past weekend my softball career came to a complete end. I have spent the last 15 years of my life putting in the hard work, dedication, and endless effort that has brought me to where I am today and I couldn't be more thankful. I have made many friendships along the way that will last a lifetime, and memories that I will cherish forever. Although I'm sad that it has come to an end, I am ready for a new chapter in my life to begin. I want to thank all my coaches and teammates for the continuous support on and off the field, and pushing me to the limits I never thought I could reach.
At the end of my softball team’s season, the coach of a travel team noticed my pitching skills and wanted me to join their team for a weekend tournament
Unknown Hi i’m Bella. I look like a happy go lucky African american woman. Well to all that say that they only got one part right in that whole statement. I’m an average african american woman. I have nothing and no one to truly call my own.
Softball. My favorite sport. It’s not a contact sport so, the chances of me injuring another player are slim to none. Or so i thought….. I was in Traverse City last year with my team for a softball tournament.
Throughout the years of playing softball, my commitment grew not only on the field with my teammates, but also independently to make me become a better player
Saturday, August 15, 2015 we had our first softball game of the year. Starting our morning off, everyone met at the softball field to eat breakfast. Our coach, Jacob Kid, had us take a round of batting practice before we left to take on Hamilton. On our way to the game, I felt as if I was going to get throw up. Coach Kidd is an awful driver.
