Ethnic Indian foods known for its Rich, fragrant and flavorful taste buds have been increasing over the last few decades and are becoming more prominent on grocery store shelves due to the increase of the Indian population in the U.S., although, Ethnic Indian foods are growing at rapid speed in American, but when comparing to other ethnic foods such as Latino and Chinese, it is nowhere near that level of popularity. While it is true that Indian food has slowly but surely found its way into the hearts and stomachs of cities around the United States. It still hasn’t reached the level of popularity as other ethnic food. Furthermore, in order to gain more attraction, Ethic Indian restaurants in America need to provide consumers delicious ethnic food with a very reasonable price. But, since consumers prefer food that is within their affordability, they aren’t willing to spend more money to try the different ethnic food when they can try their own cultural food. Which explains a lot of things about why it’s so unpopular in America since American loves to eat meat. Especially beef and pork which is something that American loves to eat but Ethnic Indian restaurants doesn’t serve any of this two main meat course. The reason behind is because, most Indian people who are Hindu aren’t allowed to eat beef, and since lots of desi Muslims goes to Indian restaurants Indian restaurants don 't serve any pork. This two factor is another huge setback for Delicious Indian foods from gaining more attraction. As people already know American loves to eat meat and that’s why they have so many fast food restaurants across the America and if you don’t sell their main type of food that then you will have very hard time getting people to eat or get people interested in eating ones ethnic
