Dear, I ‘m writing you to ask that you vote no on the Proposed Keystone XL Pipeline. The reason personally that I believe that you should vote no is because of the problems that will occur do to transporting oil in this way. Not only are we effected the environment in a negative way, we are also putting lives in jeopardy. The 1700 mile underground pipeline would link the tar sands fields of northern Alberta to oil refineries in Texas may sound like a great idea, let me tell you why I know that it is a bad idea. It is said that this fuel is dirty as well as the process that it will take to get this oil. This process would be harmful to people, wildlife as well as the environment. It has been stated that this process will inevitably leak,
For centuries the United States has been a beacon of hope for environmentalism, and it is imperative for our country that we preserve this identity. The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge or ANWR is in the secluded northeastern corner of Alaska and could contain large reserves of oil in the Prudhoe Bay region. The question of whether or not to drill for oil has been a controversial topic in American politics for decades, though the evidence will show that drilling for oil is a mistake for this country. This is because it will devastate and destroy the fragile environment. Additionally, drilling in Prudhoe Bay will not solve our oil problems.
Doug. Respectfully, your either a ineffective board member or your intentionally misleading folks. My finger is pointing directly at the truth. Certain folks within the Chambers Executive team are effectively actin as a financial conduit, funding our career elected officials to promote an particular outside interest in Folsom. My proof is solid.
The environmental argument is coming from a clash over the fact they are basically stripping the canadian boreal forest, the path of the pipeline extends across major aquifers, and pipelines tend to leak and destroy surrounding environments. In addition ccording to The Center for Climate and Energy Solutions State, “epartment’s draft SEIS found that oil from the Canadian oil sands is 17 percent more carbon-intensive than the average oil consumed in the United States... It is estimated that the U.S. greenhouse gas footprint would increase by 3 million to 21 million metric tons per year, or around 0.04 percent to 0.3 percent of the 2010 levels, if Keystone is built. Fortunately on November 6, 2015, President Barack Obama’s administration rejected the Keystone Pipeline XL after 7 years of dispute. As mentioned in the Wall Street Journal, Obama stated “the project would not have lowered gas prices, improved energy security or made a meaningful long-term contribution to the economy
We, Nery Chavez and Fatima Khan from Harmony School of Discovery are writing this letter to bring to your attention something that we believe is unfair and requires inquisition. We believe that our dear friend and, until recently, classmate, Riley Brast should be re-enrolled in the senior class at Harmony School of Discovery for the 2015-2016 school year. Riley Brast has attended Harmony School of Discovery since the 2011-2012 school year, her eighth grade year. Since then she has grown as a person, as a student, and as a friend.
The United States of America is a country known for freedom. It is so widely valued that the Constitution lays out the different rules and laws that gives freedom to its citizens. This Constitution protects the right of each citizen; one of the most popularly known amendments is the one stating the protection of “life, liberty and property.” So, if America is a country based off freedom and these rights, why is it that the native culture to this country are the ones whose “life, liberty, and property” are taken away the most? Most can guess which culture is in the previous question: Native Americans.

Dear God, why have you forsaken me? What would you have me do? I am a man of faith. I must have faith, or I have nothing! What is the meaning of a life of a reverend if he does not believe the very name he preaches?
Dear Simon Bolivar Buckner, 12/01/2016 I am Yasmine and i go for the North side. All we want is to keep our country back together. You should join us because in our constitution all men are free, and the south doesn’t follow our constitution. So basically in the south all slaves aren’t treated equally.
Dear Steve Harmon , I hope you’re doing well Mr.Harmon , I know you have been through a whole lot of things you would’ve wanted to go through . Now I understand , why people kill and murder others not everyone does it, people have a reason why. But I do believe you are innocent since you are a young boy, of course you’d be nervous or scared. O’Brien gave several reasons why you should come out
Augustine hadn't been this upset, angry, or heartbroken so badly before in her life. After so many years of being lied to, she had finally found out the truth about her parents. The picture that she had painted of her father was quickly destroyed. For forever she pictured she had had, the perfect father, one who was much like her grandfather, and one that would have loved her unconditionally. At this point Augustine felt as if noone loved her, she had to flee away from the situation for a bit, so runnning off to her secret, safety place was the only thing on her mind.

Controversy Surrounding the Keystone XL Pipeline To build or not to build, this choice will impact the relationship between the US and Canada and determine the level of dependence the US will have on countries that are not so friendly. “TransCanada’s proposed Keystone XL Pipeline would transport oil sands crude from Canada and shale oil produced in North Dakota and Montana to a market hub in Nebraska for delivery to Gulf Coast refineries. The pipeline would consist of 875 miles of 36-inch pipe with the capacity to transport 830,000 barrels per day” (Parfomak, Pirog, Luther and Vann 4). The construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline would strengthen the United States economy, provide energy security and have minimal environmental impact. “The Keystone XL project would create $1.1 trillion in private capital investment at no

In this letter, I will be expressing my thoughts and knowledge on why I do agree on putting regulation on performing a human genetic test and how the conducted data should be used. Here I will support my point of view on why it should be required to apply law and regulation to protect patients’ genetic information from workplace, and insurance companies. In my argument, I will also state why it’s important to have a proper procedure to inform the tested individuals with their screening result. Genetic screening is a type of science and medical engineering that determines mutation and disorder in genes.
Dear, Mr.Rome This is a terrible way to start high school in freshmen year. I am truly sorry for what I have done, I understand that being able to participate in the 12 Hour Film Fest is a privilege and my actions have been inappropriate. Though I felt skeptical about entering, I believed it to be fine as I was accompanying upperclassman who have been to previous 12 Hour Film Fests. I do regret what I’ve done and I now know that what I did was unacceptable. Even though I do have to take some responsibility for what happened, I still think that being with the upperclassmen persuaded my decision in going.
