California has made new claims that they plan to break away from not only the rest of California but from the United States as a whole.
In most cases the people of a state are the ones who threaten to leave of something they are against happens. But this time it is different, California’s leaders and officials are also supporting California 's break-away from the United States.
California said that of Trump became president they would leave the US and they still support this claim. California also pays the most toward Washington 's elections. California is one of the most populated states in America which means that if they do split they aren 't Americans anymore. And personally I feel as though Trump won 't support their decision, or California 's new country in general.

California will also be in a lot of trouble seeing as they have 1.3 Trillion dollars of debt. Which won 't be convenient for a new country.
California 's plan to become a new country could either be a hoax or the beginning of something much larger.
South Florida has also decided to split into a second state. Unlike California Florida wants to split into two. Starting out as just a hoax on social media the idea of Florida splitting into two has become a much bigger situation.
South California claims that Northern Florida hasn 't taken realistic precautions with rising sea-levels, or climate changes.

With 3/10 of its population born outside of the United States, California is a very diverse community. With high tax burdens and union membership, and low gun ownership, it is also one of the most progressive states. In a poll taken in early February, Feinstein was leading de Leon 46% to 17%, largely due to her advantage in name recognition and fundraising. That margin has already begun to close with Feinstein now leading 42% to 16%. While de Leon is unlikely to catch Feinstein before the primary in June, in a two-person race in the general election, California's voter demographics and trends should benefit de Leon.
People in California wanted to have the right to vote for their leaders to represent them in the U.S. Congress. The California Constitution of 1849 was basically a copy of different
If California becomes a separate country then Californian residents would benefit from it. A reason why California should become a separate country is that California’s natural resources are being extracted from California at
How did California, The Golden State, become a part of the United States of America? The answer lies in the Mexican-American War. This controversial war was fought in 1846 under the presidency of James K. Polk, a strong believer in Manifest Destiny. It took place after the annexation of Texas and was a result of a dispute over land between the Nueces River and Rio Grande. The Mexican-American War was unjustified for three reasons, for one; Polk intentionally instigates the war with Mexico, secondly; the U.S. only wanted Mexican land to expand their own, and finally; in order to obtain this land, America violates Mexican laws.
From November 1860 to May 1861 we have had 11 of our Southern states secede from the United States of America. They threatened to secede if our current president Abraham Lincoln was elected into office. The reason all 11 states seceded is because they believe that the government was becoming too strong, and they didn’t want them to tell them how they could live and how they couldn’t. In other words they didn’t want the government to tell them if they could have slaves and if they couldn’t. The Southerners felt that if they stayed with the United states that the Northern states would begin to control them.
Once the US had obtained Texas, they set their eyes on California and New
The Gold Rush supposedly inspired the largest mass movement of people in world history because of the incredibly large masses of gold being found in the West. People found thousands of dollars in gold and people of all different cultures and backgrounds moved Westwards in hopes of finding gold as well. The Gold Rush left a positive effect on American History because Americans became wealthier and more foreigners came to California which expanded diversity. To start, Americans were able to sell this gold in exchange for loads of money. One man who only had a piece of land that was four feet square “got thirty pounds of gold in less than a month.”.
Although both Georgia and California have many differences and similarities. Both of these states are known for their diverse cultures and their geography. However, there are also some differences between these two states that some people may want to consider before living or visiting one of these states. This forces California’s local governments to get stuck in a slippery slope problem because they need funds to regulate projects, but they also want to secure sanctuaries for undocumented immigrants. Keeley Webster, in her article “Sanctuary Fight Viewed as Having Limited Fiscal Impact on Cities,” states the implications for California "would be huge, as federal funds make up more than one-third of the state budget. The issue at hand is forcing California local governments to have their backs against the wall in a tight situation. Along with the state government of California, they have joined forces to hold a stance against the federal government. The funding doesn’t prevent the issue, it’s just a tactic trump is using at the moment to fulfill his campaign
The Compromise of 1850 was an effort by the United States Congress that was drafted by Henry Clay, who was both the U.S. Senator and the House Representative of Kentucky. This compromise was a series of acts passed in 1850, attempted to reconcile Northern and Southern interests to preserve the Civil War. After the start of the Mexican-American War, conflicts about whether to allow slavery in those new territories to polarized Northern and Southern of the United States raised up. Northerners were in favor the Compromise, since they thought it’s a good chance to stop slavery. On the other hand, Southerners were against it, they thought it threatened their political power because the join of territory--California would disturb the balance of 15 free states and 15 slave states.
America has come such a long way to be known as the Melting Pot. The reason behind this is that America is extremely diverse and has many different people. Many of immigrants, both legal and illegal, from around the world, are migrating to here, in California. For some, this is an advantage. Economically, this means there are more consumers- more people to take advantage of the opportunities and resources that this state has to offer.
I. The California Gold Rush is one of the most known gold rushes in the U.S. The phenomenon was started by James Marshall when he found gold in the American River and he said “My heart thumped for I knew it was gold.” Because of his findings the California Gold Rush was born in 1848, then died seven years later in 1855. During these seven years California accumulated over 300,000 people that left their homes to mine for gold.
The reasons why California residents are so worried is because they assume that there will be a decrease in employment, have an increase in the price of the products, and it will have little to no effect on reducing poverty. First of off, with the new minimum wage being presented
In today decision I would have to say that Texas will remain a Republican Party. The President of the United States is a Republican. My decision would have to be that the Texas Party will stay the same way since the nineteenth seventies till the remaining of the President Donald Trump term. Texas has a lot of factors that helps makes decisions such as age, income, Education, Ethnicity, Religion, and Gender. The biggest factor would be Ethnicity, and why Is because in the 1950’s between 50% and 60% of black voters identified as Democrats.
