After completing career pathway assignment my results somehow what I see to do in my future. My top choice from the career pathway results was chain store pharmacy. I have come too far to achieve my goal. Being a pharmacy graduate from another country and not able to practice here in the USA, I went through the whole process of pharmacy school and stand on my grounds for the completion. I want to contribute towards my community and family. I want to hold onto my good foundation in moral values and beliefs of principles. I differentiate myself from other students in past by receiving the quality of education and college experience throughout my schooling. In short, I see myself not only being the future pharmacist, I am more to be a profession in a society as multifunctional, leaders, social technician, and reformers. I have an ability for foreign languages. As a matter of fact, I know English, Hindi, Gujarati, Swahili, Urdu, and Punjabi. My future learning goal is Spanish. My studies at the University of Wyoming will contribute a lot in getting a licensure to work in any state of pharmacy and pursuing my goals in the future to work for a chain pharmacy and maybe look into doing an anticoagulation clinic. I strongly believe that the school of pharmacy has provided me to be fine interdisciplinary human, professional and have the knowledge to seek a level excellence in the field of pharmacy. Creating this student college career portfolio required that I have a firm understanding of career theories and models. More importantly, I become fascinated with the field. Pharmacy appeals to me as an intriguing and promising occupation. More importantly, it is also a noble profession. I’m currently volunteering at Massachusetts General Hospital. I started off volunteering in the department of patient escort services and then I was transferred into the emergency room.
My career I chose is pharmacy technician. I think I would like to become a pharmacy tech because I like to be one on one with someone. Another reason I would like to become one is because I could work in any pharmacy. Being a pharmacy technician would allow me to have a flexible schedule. It would also be good I the future because later I could go back and get a degree in pharmacy.
These goals define who I am as well as define my future. And I am so grateful to reside in a nation that gives me the opportunity to pursue it. The ability to be a doctor is a blessing within itself and one I am excited and determined to achieve wholeheartedly. I hope to change lives one day. I began working as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in high school. I am a first-generation college student and mother of two. My collegiate experience has not been a linear path. However, I have shown determination to continue my education post-high school. I have overcome several challenges in the pursuit of higher education.
Focus 2 Assignment – Reflection Upon completing the Focus 2 career assessment program, I am quite impressed at the quality of information it presents. It allowed me to not only look at careers that would fit my personality, but also those that take into consideration the fields I am already interested in. Also, as with any form of self-assessment, there were strengths and weaknesses that I did not expect based on how I feel I live my life currently. Beginning chronologically, the program had me complete two subjective, current measures of my professional career.

I have paved my path through my experiences in the best way I could in order to grow in my knowledge, leadership, professionalism, and patient care. My experiences have provided me with the tools to become a great resident and future clinical pharmacist. I know your program will give me the chance to continue to build myself as a rounded pharmacist as well as strengthen my foundation of knowledge I received through my education at UAMS. My short term goals during residency are to, first and foremost, become a knowledgeable pharmacist that other healthcare professionals can look up to and utilize with confidence.

The idea of choosing a career to do for the rest of your life is scary, but I still found a career that I would love to go in to, pharmacy. I understand that achieving the degrees and the license is easier said than done, but I know I can accomplish anything if I give it my all. There are many factors that stand out to me about being a pharmacist. Helping and working directly with people, job mobility, stability, and flexibility, and being a part of the health community are all reasons that contribute to why I would like to be a pharmacist.
Career Research: Pharmaceutical and Pediatric Field One career field that I am interested in is pharmacy. I believe that pharmacy would be a good field for me because my mother is a pharmacy technician and since my mom would study medicine I would sit beside her and she would help me learn some things about pharmacy and medicine. Since then, I have always thought of pharmacy as a possible career choice.
Pharmacy Personal Statement It is vital for one to acknowledge his wellbeing and plan his personal goals and intentions before pursuing a career. It was not until after my mother passed away that I acknowledged that ideology and became certain that pharmacy is a realm I should be in. My mother passed away from cancer and her life could have been more prolonged if she continued her medications as advised by her physician, however, the insurance would not cover her and my financial status did not allow me to help. At that time I had little experience and her death encouraged me to want to become a pharmacist. Moreover, my passion for the evolution of science which has contributed to the advancements of medications, such as how they function and how they influence society made me more interested in pharmacy school.
Even when I couldn't decide what career I wanted as my top choice, my second choice would always remain the same, pharmacy. By my senior year, I realized in sixth grade and still today, I would love to become a pharmacist, so I declared that as my future career. Even though I may have technically made the decision of being a pharmacist my senior year, the younger me knew exactly what was best. Career Pathway Plan What is the reason behind a career plan? Essentially everyone has a significant goal or aspiration they long to achieve in the future. Career planning is essential to achieving the goals and aspirations, in the preferred career. Whether there is an ambition to eventually be a manager within the desired field or pursue additional opportunities outside of the field, one must know the direction and the details required to achieve that goal.
