Serial killer John Wayne Gacy was born on March 17, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. He was born unto Danish and Polish parents. John Wayne Gacy had a normal childhood with the exception of his drunkard father John Stanley Gacy. John Gacy’s father would beat John Gacy and Karen and Joanne Gacy. The beatings did not consist of bare hands but instead consisted of beatings with a razor strap. John Wayne Gacy would have part time jobs and also have boy scout activities. At the age of 11 John Wayne Gacy accidentally hit himself with a swing set in the head which created a blood clot. The blood clot was not discovered until John Wayne Gacy was 16 years old. For 5 years The Killer Clown would receive series of blackouts because of the clot. AT age 17 John Wayne Gacy was diagnosed with a non-specific heart ailment. Even though this non-specific heart ailment did not ever suffer any major heart attacks. This can be explained from a poorly developed amygdala. The amygdala is responsible for mental and emotional state. The amygdala part of the brain structure that’s activated during states of fear and anxiety. And if you have a shrunken amygdala then you don't really contain the emotion of fear, so therefore the amygdala will not activate. John Gacy must have had a shrunken amygdala because if he didn't he would have not murdered all those men and teenagers without feeling rueful in anyway.
