J) Simpson On one faithful night in June of 1994, a gruesome double murder took place. The victims Nicole Brown Simpson (former ex-wife of the famous Orenthal James (O.J.) Simpson) and Ronald Goldman (an acquaintance to Nicole) were found brutally murdered in front of Nicole’s pricey condominium in Los Angeles, California. Parker Center was the headquarters for the Los Angeles Police Department from 1954 until October 2009 and is located in Downtown LA. “The building was named for former LAPD chief William H. Parker. The building combined police facilities that had been located throughout the Civic Center area. On July 16, 1966, Chief Parker had a fatal heart attack. Soon afterwards, the Los Angeles City Council renamed the building "Parker Center." With this being said and studying the topic in greater depth detail, it seems that there may have been a more likely suspect other than O.J. Simpson. This would have been O.J.’s son, Jason Simpson, who ironically had anger issues and a career as “a Miami chef, who could be accused as the overlooked suspect” (dailymail.com). Research has shown that Jason was accused by Nicole of stalking her and causing her discomfort and a fear of her life. She reported to O.J. and police that Jason was stalking her on numerous occasions, so no one really knows who the murderer was. I feel that if the investigators would have looked deeper into this assumption that they would have found more concrete evidence possibly linking another suspect to the crime. It is my opinion that if Jason was involved with the double murder-homicide, and the investigators were more forceful, O.J. may have been inclined to protect his son and take the fall. He possibly would have given a false statement of confession, even though he may have not committed the
