President Abraham Lincoln wrote the Gettysburge Address in honor of the lives lost during the Civil War. As well as remembering the reason why the nation was split in two due to the moral conflict citizens faced. For this speech the usage of repetition, antithesis, and alliteration transported the message across to the audience much clearer.
