I've often asked myself: What is life all about? And each time I ask this rhetorical question, I get the same answer: Life is the small smiles that we have our little moments of joy, the wide grins that fill our faces when our hearts are full with happiness, the bits and pieces of ecstasy that touch our bodies and make them tremble; life is all about the heartbreaks, the shattered hearts, the outstretched flashes of devastation, and the brief moments of glee that follow the shattered pieces of our hearts when they are brought together again. Life is when we fail, fall and come up once again. It's the past memories hunting our present and the fears of carrying on and lose those memories. Love is abundant, it goes far and beyond our understanding and expectation. Love is the first time you open your eyes as an infant and see nothing but cheerful faces happy to see you. Love is the first time you grab the handle of your bicycle then, take off, and while seeing everything goes by so fast before your eyes, you fall and hurt your knees, but instead of crying, you laugh. It's when you first see this person that forces his/her way to into your heart and makes you flutter. It's the first time you hold hands with the person you love, and look each other in the eye, saying nothing, but your silence screams millions of emotions all at once. Your first kiss, when your lips meet his/hers then fireworks lift you up to heaven in an unspoken, indescribable feeling. Then the pain comes, because pain is part of life, part of love. When you spread your wings above the clouds, only for them to burn leading you to fall to your demise, leaving nothing but broken bones. You got scared of trying again, afraid of falling in love or being touched by anyone, but when you had the chance you let your guards down and accepted life's passion with open
Life is an experience that mankind has had to face since the beginning of time. In three short articles, we capture different perspectives of what life is to the authors. Life is can be a blessing or a curse some would say. In Hamlet 's Soliloquy, by Hamlet, the texts big issue is; Is it better to live with pain or end your life, because of the unbearable pain.
They say love is pure, sweet, and something that you can never forget. You feel as if your whole world was turned upside down, and you seem to do things so foolish because of it. It is the greatest feeling the universe gives you. Although they refuse to tell you of the longing, terror, or the pain of it. It is nothing other than a burden, a nightmare which I wish to awaken from.
Life is something that requires a significant amount of physical and mental effort. Some are deeply fortunate to have everything arranged for them and not have a single worry. For others, life is full of stress and hardships. It all just depends on how one was raised and brought into this world. Out of the Rick Bragg articles, the characters went through grief and heartache, government involvement, and the absence of life’s given moments.
The Meaning of Life Have you ever had a slow moving day and just wondered what life is truly about? Is it about having big dreams and working to accomplish them, or is it about enjoying yourself and creating great memories with the opportunity life throws at you? From my stand point it is about enjoying every single day and creating wonderful memories because you never know when your last day may be. Erma Bombeck, the author, emphasizes on the article mainly by stating, “Live each moment for what is worth,” in which she discusses that people should take advantage of opportunities presented to them before it is too late. She is encouraging people, mainly women, to not make excuses for why they are unable to do something.
Love, however, is not a feeling that is immediate it is an emotional response that takes time to develop. Love is the deep desire to further your dreams no matter what with an individual. It revolves around nurturing and growth. Never just about physical wants and needs it can protect you when needed the most in every aspect of your life. It’s more in connection with friendship than any sort of coupling; love grows at a very slow rate.
Life is a gift. A gift filled with emotion, morals, and choices. You are brought into this world and quickly grow into a naive, happy, ball of joy; convinced no wrong can be done. As you grow older, you slowly realize that not everything is as good at it seems. You learn about the bad that is happening in the world and learn that not everyone is a good person.
Our most appreciated administrators and teachers, dear parents, adored friends, ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant morning to you. It is a great privilege for me to be standing here in front of you to express the happiness that we feel in our hearts today. I am Amal a student who has been going to AIS for 8 years now. They say “Today we learn, tomorrow we lead”. That’s true those three years made a difference.
Lone Star High School is a location where students can feel secure and have many opportunities to showcase their skills and leadership qualities. Our campus is built upon five figurative pillars; Integrity, Strength, Stewardship, Loyalty and Perseverance. These pillars are what make us the admirable school that we are today. I believe everyone of our students must have these five qualities in order to ensure success now and later on in the future. As a student I believe that for one to have integrity they must show signs of righteous ethical morals.
Infatuation usually occurs at the beginning of relationship when sexual attraction is central, while love can be described as feeling of intense affection for another person. It is most often talked about as an emotion between two people, hence is also sometimes referred to as interpersonal love. Infatuation feels like all-consuming euphoria similar to recreational drug use (addictive chemical reactions in the brain), and results in emptiness, and consequences of choices made while under the influence of mind numbing temporary lust. Now, love feels like a deep affection, filled with with contentment and confidence, which results in security, peace, and a solid partnership. In love, partners communicate and negotiate an appropriate expectation, which requires plenty of selflessness and polite assertiveness.
When asked to define love, people may answer with many different things. The formal definition of love as a noun is an intense feeling of deep affection. Love as a verb is to feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to someone. In The Crucible, Arthur Miller uses character pairings and their actions to illustrate his own definition of love.
Deep, intense, and long-lasting individuals use love to express their true emotions. Love is the passionate affection and desire felt by lovers for each other. While love can be so powerful, it is also demanding. Love is unique, love is special. Whether it is the impacts, love and an addiction both have on the body to how they change a person or to how they make a person feel, love is an addiction.
It is insane, raw, tender, and scary. Love can be good and bad. It’s making someone smile for no apparent reason. It also can be making someone else’s day just by looking at the person they love. Love is being glad that somebody or something is to exist.
Although ones life is absurd at times and may seem meaningless, knowing that the world and fate is what we make of it. Finding happiness is
What is Love? If you were to search it up you get the vague definition which reads: an intense feeling of deep affection. But it’s so much more, it has so many different meanings to people. Even wrong meanings that people associate it with. Love comes in many different forms, such as: friendship, family, and partnership.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Some of us define love by having a romantic date, the intimate feeling, having a caring, gorgeous and handsome partner, financially supportive partner, or a spoiler. These things are the definition of a “not really mature” definition of love. Love is sacrifice.
