This site is full of information and simple to navigate. The experiment page offers more than forty hands-on experiments requiring simple household items to conduct. I did have some trouble understanding what exactly was the project, but I now have some clue to what I'll be doing, however further clarification would help. I was able to find what was needed with no problem and complete what is now needed to be done. I've never used a the project section on black board before, but I don't think it will be anything difficult to use. I would guess that it something we'll need to be using for this class on our projects, but I'm not really sure, so I'll guess it's useful.

For the math trial my group and I decided to take on this project at Mira Costa College. At Mira Costa College, we specifically focused on an object that is seen quite often in schools and in Mira Costa too. The object is a water fountain, which is very common to see and have at any kind of school. The water fountain we focused on was the one located very close to our classroom near the restrooms and vending machines.
The essay “Science: It’s Just not Fair”, by Dave Barry, some truths about science fairs that many students have to participate in are brought out. Barry starts the essay with the beginning of the science fair project process, which is usually put off until the last minute. He sarcastically and ironically describes the process as a student who is rushing to do their project the night before the due date. Barry also includes and comments on the the ironic importance of the hypothesis and conclusion in the science fair process, showing how they usually very vague statements. He also gives examples of his wife’s and his own last-minute science fair projects that they threw together quickly before the due date.

As above the name of the organization I chose to research is Aim High. This organization is located in seven different cities, mostly concentrating in Northern California. Out of those seven cities, it operates in seventeen different places. The organization helps low-income students and it contributes to the local communities by providing the students learning and academic experiences so they can be successful in their future studies. Their mission is to “nurture the promise and potential of middle school students from low-income neighborhoods, prepare students for high school, setting them on the path to college and future success, and inspire the next generation of teachers and educational leaders” (Aim High, n.d.).
Persavsive Paragragh I think Grandview R2 Middle School should have recess. Recess would provide more phyisical activities and exersize for kids,also i think recess provides free time for kids to get away from work for a little bit. The normal time to have recess would be after lunch to let energy befor comming back to class. Also i think recess is a time for kids to let out stress from work that has been put on them. Recess help kids stay active and healthy also it would help kids not sleep in class while doing his or her work.

Based on experience and observations shared by other colleagues teaching Science in the K to 12 programs, some of the activities in the learning module are not enough. The researcher who teaches in Grade 8 also observed that there is a need for more enriching activities specifically for the Science. The Fourth Quarter unit of the module – The Living Things and Their Environment was the focus of this study. This Biology unit presents concepts that are mostly intangible including the mechanisms of heredity. Cellular Reproduction and Genetics unit are also placed on the last part of learning material which covered the densest of the learning material.
