As my loyal readers know, I follow the Canadian film industry fairly closely, and as a result, I regularly "discover" other actors of whom I was not previously aware while I am promoting and watching the works of many of my actor friends. I do not know exactly how I happened upon Sharon Taylor, but as I examined her credits, I realized I had seen her in a wide variety of works (including her first movie role). Recently, she agreed to answer a few questions about her experiences in the film industry so far with a heavy concentration on her current (and upcoming) roles, specifically SyFy's new original series, Ghost Wars. Photo by Dennys Ilic RH: Why did you decide to become an actress? ST: I had wanted to be an actress since I was in high school. I loved being in the school plays, and I had a very inspiring high school teacher who put his heart and soul into mounting a show. I learned early on that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but that the overall reward is so worth it. I then went on to study theatre in university and received my Batchelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and haven't looked back! I had worked with him briefly on Continuum and he is such a brilliant and kind person. And then when I found out I would be acting opposite Vincent D'Onofrio, Kim Coates and Meatloaf, I was as excited as a little kid on Christmas! Ghost Wars is about a remote Alaskan town that has been overrun by paranormal forces and the town must work together to save themselves from the mass haunting that's threatening to destroy them all. I play Sophia Moon, the town mortician, and she has a crazy journey throughout the series. She is one of my most favourite characters that I've ever played. Ghost Wars is currently airing on the SyFy channel in the USA and then will be on Netflix in
“The Shooter” The ghost of Doc Halladay is most likely known as “The Shooter”. His ghost is mostly been sighted at “The Birdcage Theatre” in Tombstone, Arizona. He was shot and killed in Tombstone in the O.K. Corral gunfight against The Clanton’s and the Macalry Gang in late 1863. He is known to have many ghosts and spirits accompanying him in the Birdcage. Billy Clanton and Johnny Rhingo are 2 main spirits that are known to be around there.
Stephanie McCurry convincingly argues that white females and enslaved Africans were able to form the allied States of America throughout the Civil War era. For McCurry, southern progressive set out to make “a proslavery antidemocratic state, dedicated to the proposition that all men were not created equal” (1). The author’s main point is to determine how white ladies and enslaved African-American ladies and gentleman during the Civil War strained the allied the government, to identify them as government agents. McCurry disagrees that these powerless groups worked out agency during the Civil War because of the general problems brought on by the war
One night in the town of Sleepy Hollow there was a man who stood across the Sleepy Hollow bridge. It was the headless horseman. He stood across the bridge waiting on someone. The person was Ichabod Crane. That night Ichabod was at a party where everyone was talking about ghost.
The contrast between these two sub-sets of fiction is controversial among critics and scholars. Neal Stephenson has suggested that while any definition will be simplistic, there is a general cultural difference between literary and genre fiction today. On the one hand literary authors are nowadays are frequently supported by patronage, with employment at a university or similar institutions, and with the continuation of such positions determined not by book sales but, by critical acclaim by other established literary authors and critics. On the other hand, he suggests, genre fiction writers tend to support themselves by book sales. However, in an interview John Updike lamented that "the category of 'literary fiction ' has
The ghost sometimes is in the boys locker room and will throw all the uniforms around without even going into the lockers because none of the boys put their stuff in the lockers. The ghost makes the lights flicker, and will lock all the lockers and put their stuff in the lockers so they have to actually put their combo in so they actually learn to keep stuff in the lockers. We will never know if this is the same ghost. But reporters say it is not. We will never know.

The Canadian actor and comedian Rick Moranis, as one of the principal actors in the original Ghostbusters film and its 1989 sequel, gave a super-classy answer as to why the actor has no interest in playing the cameo in the Ghostbusters reboot by the American director and actor - Paul Feig. And Twitter immediately became active with the mixed reactions of Rick Moranis fans, some of which were acclamations, some were sad, and some in tearful applause. Rick Moranis, who became famous in the 1980 circa sketch comedy show Second City Television, stated this in a new interview, "I expect the film to be terrific," Rick Moranis continued, "But it just makes no sense to me. Why would I do just one day of filming in a movie that I did 30 years ago?" Rick Moranis, who appeared in several Hollywood films, including Strange Brew, Spaceballs, Little Shop of Horrors, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, said that he didn 't quit from showbiz (where Rick Moranis has done some voice work and animation, but hasn 't played a live-action character since 1997) for any showbiz-related reason, but rather, he chose to prioritize looking after his two kids when his wife passed away with breast cancer.
It all started when I was only 3 months old, that was when I became a child model. If I was told that my career would have grown this far I would have never believed it! My mother was a child model, so that’s why she decided to put her own children into modeling at a young age. From that moment on it easily became my passion.
About a day after Wes made a fool of himself in front of the real Star, Casper High was put on an altered schedule for a 'ghost safety assembly' with the Fentons. Apparently they were going to run through the basics of how to use Fenton weapons and appropriate ghost emergency procedures. To be honest, Wes thought it sounded more like a self advertising gig rather than an educational presentation.
Power is a drama series as well, and is based on a drug-dealer named James, otherwise known as "Ghost." Ghost is a current drug dealer, in hopes of becoming "clean." He does this
This was a great feeling and I felt accomplished. Once I entered the patrol car with my first field training officer, it was as if I knew nothing about law enforcement and I was starting from scratch. A short time into my field training phase I was comfortable again and felt accomplished once again. I had approximately eight different training coaches while in training phase. I learned a wealth of knowledge from each one of them, some good things and other not so good things.
I have always wanted to help people and to help them better their lives, but I never could figure out how I could make that passion a reality, until the day I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety at age eleven. After that rough period in life, I learned how I could help other people. I could listen to them and try to help them better understand themselves. Life is much easier for a person when they have people who believe in them like a psychologist or therapist. My college plan would be to earn a bachelor, and master degree in Psychology to become a Behavior Analyst.
For the past couple of year, acting is all I have know to do and it is something that I enjoy to do even though I do not get paid to do it. When acting, I do not have to be myself, but I am the character and when I am on a stage I do not get afraid or nervous because the people will not judge me. Some people will say that going into an acting major is not a smart decision because it's hard to get a job with it, but I'm willing to work hard and do
Ghost rider has gone through many forms and human hosts, but what links them all together is their hunger for revenge, especially for those who can’t obtain it themselves. The concept of the Ghost Rider was first created in 1972 by Ray Thomas, Gary Friedrich, and Mike Ploog, but was under the name ‘Phantom Rider’, whose host was a western grave digger called Carter Slade. Slade features in the first Ghost Rider live action film, but only as a mentor and guide to Johnny Blaze. Slade is played by actor Sam Eliot.
