As a matter of fact, Napoleon showed us a monarchy type of government when he took over Manor Farm. A monarchy is when one person reigns until death. This can be related to Joseph Stalin the dictator of the Union of Soviet Social Republics (USSR) because he was seen to be a cruel leader who eliminated anybody who got in his way. By way of example, Napoleon used this same tactic to overrule the farm and the animals with his nine frightening dogs. The animals went along with all the things he said but disagreed at times until Squealer manipulated their minds into thinking Napoleon was a good leader. The hens were the only ones to rebel against him but died not long after their food supply had been cut off. The supreme authority got to Napoleon
That is why absolute monarchy is a negative system, as the government begins to care more about power and not their fellow ones. As said before, absolute monarchy is a bad way to rule a country, and Charles I can give us an example why. His reign was made of only his decisions, and no one could say the contrary. He could raise taxes, and imprison
Things would probably have turned out differently if he would have spoke up about what he thinks. Instead changes continued to process on and on. Maybe the animals would have fought back Napoleon if they would have knew what was happening. In the end, most animals ended up murdered by the gaurd dogs and Napolien had gone
Napoleon and Toussaint’s Striking Similarities Great minds think alike, right? As a matter of fact, In the case of Napoleon Bonaparte and Toussaint Louverture, this old saying applies very well. Before the Enlightenment, absolute rulers such as King Louis XIV, Charles V, and Philip II had complete power over their countries and made all the choices on their own of how to run their countries. Many rulers, such as Ivan the Terrible who went crazy and killed his own son, abused their powers. Montesquieu brought forth the new idea of Separation of Powers and Checks and Balances that kept the government from gaining too much power over the people. This was a change because Separation of Powers did not allow the government to gain too much power and run the country solely, which all the absolute rulers
These three reasons are why animals were too scared to overthrow him and to be free from his rule. One example of how Napoleon stays in charge is Animalism. Animalism was meant to be set in place keeping any animal from having more power than the others. Napoleon uses this to his advantage by having a basic first set of commandments which is “reduced to… ‘Four legs good, two legs bad.’
Ideas that were formed by the enlightenment philosophers were used in the new government. The French, however, did not make significant progress toward ending absolutism and instead were subject to another absolute ruler immediately after the revolution. After the French revolution, Napoleon Bonaparte became emperor. In this role, Bonaparte had absolute power over France. But some traces of progress were seen, as Bonaparte created a fairer tax system, new schools and a new set of laws (some still in place over 200 years
The idea of monarchy is that there is one ruler who abides over the whole government. Thomas Hobbes
“I think the international community should unite to fight such inhuman phenomena as terror attacks and the murder of totally innocent people.” Words by Vladimir Putin a man who has taken countless lives of innocent people. Putin is exceptionally well at being a hypocrite. He accuses people of doing actions he himself has done. Just like Putin a character who has also made some of the same choices as Putin is Napoleon from George Orwell’s Animal Farm.

At the start of the early-modern period of European history, feudalism was dying, and countries looked to strong, centralized governments for leadership. The popular political theory to address this new development was absolutism. Absolute monarchs reduced the power of nobles in order to consolidate the nation’s leadership under one banner. During the 17th and 18th centuries, Europe’s political landscape was dominated by this form of government. Monarchy was seen by the early modern Europeans as the best form of government for a variety of reasons.
The animals start recognizing Napoleon for any good achievement done that day. For example, one of the hens recognizes Napoleon for just one stroke of good fortune. “Under the leadership of our Leader Comrade Napoleon, I have laid five eggs in six days…”(78). These poor animals are tricked into thinking that everything good that happens is due to “Comrade Napoleon's Leadership”. Every quote we see is a deeper level of corruption in Napoleon, and now, his influence on the farm is tearing what the revolution was all about.

They uphold years of tradition even in changing times. A monarch can remind their country of what it represents and where their traditions came from, which people can forget during political moments.
Based from the textbook, the two journeys of Hannibal & Mao Zedong are quite different in many aspects. Hannibal Barca was born in Carthage, North Africa, was the commander of the army, and was made by his father to promise to hate the Romans. “The Hannibal crosses the Alps” journey was started to declare war to the Romans from Spain to Italy in 218 BC. Mao Zedong, on the other hand, was the leader of the Red Army, who tried to escape from the Nationalist Government. His father, however, was an ambitious but illiterate farmer, who wanted his son to have the education he didn’t have.
He appeared to be opposed to humans in power. At the end of the story, he became one of the humans. Napoleon is an antagonist because his views are conflicting with the rest of the animals, except for the pigs. His views are opposing the other animals ' views about humans in
