Sinaloa Cartel was founded in the 1980s by Joaquín Guzmán, Juan José Esparragoza Moreno, Ismael Zambada García, and Héctor Luis Palma Salazar. They are located in Culiacán, Sinaloa state, Mexico, and primarily sell Narcotics. They are mostly known for selling illegal drugs, Smuggly drugs to the U.S., and disrupting Narcotics through Mexico/United States. We will see how the Sinaloa Cartel operates throughout the United States. Sinaloa Cartel operates by creating and selling drugs such as Cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, Marijuana, and Methamphetamine. They can do this with the help of drug dealers/drug smugglers who must be recruited by the cartel. Most cartels have a hiring strategy, and this strategy is to hire workers over the media. (Shaw, Best, Jenkins, 29). According to the Drug-Free Company, cartels will attempt to hire young people, to make them loyal towards the cartel. The Sinaloa Cartel is no stranger to smuggling either. The United States Drug Enforcement Administration claims that the Sinaloa Cartel uses stash houses by the California border. Then they will drive to each one of the houses, and grab small increments of their supply to drive to their destination. While on the trips between the stash houses the Sinaloa Cartels will put contraband in the gas can (abc 7 new). Another way the Sinaloa Cartel will transport drugs across borders is by having drones attempt to fly across the border. The drones have c4 explosions, and a sharpel that is might to fight off unwanted guest ( Luis Chaparro, 1-2). This might be the least risky way the Sinalo cartel smuggle drugs, since their cartel members aren't at the same place as the drones. Therefore they cant be directly caught.
