How Slaughterhouse Five came to grow on me is actually quite simple. I looked at the book from a different perspective and paid more attention to details. In some books details are what drive the books success. The book is an insight into what Kurt Vonnegut thinks about the human experience, however though you must look into the details to find these ideas. The human experience insight is found in the tralfamadorians. However, I think that Vonnegut uses the aliens to say how he really feels about people, the government, and life; because let’s be honest most people won’t get made at a little alien, but a ton of people will get mad at a writer expressing his thoughts about this one fragile life we live.
