An end-year celebration at the social services center Inland Regional turned into a deadly shooting after being raided by a couple. Identified as 28-year-old Syad Farook and 29-year-old Tashfeen Malik, the couple left 14 dead and 21 wounded inside a packed conference room rented by the country’s public health department. Both attackers were armed with assault rifles and handguns, all legally purchased, and a remote-controlled car with explosives attached.
