There is debate about whether the Industrial Revolution made people better off but it was a good thing because there was a major increase in job opportunities. Another good thing that came from the Industrial Revolution was more efficient production. Also cheaper prices made things better. The main reasoning for this argument would be the job opportunities increase. An increase in job opportunities was a major plus from the Industrial Revolution. Factories began to pop up everywhere and the factories couldn’t run without employees. Urbanization also played a role in the job increase because 80% of of people lives in rural areas so migrants moved from the countryside so small towns made large cities.
