I think not.” Mrs.Proctor smiles and keeps her dignity is that. She keep her respect for herself towards Proctor also she mocks him. Trying to saying “I think not” if it was anyone in need of help he wouldn’t go. But if was Abigail he would’ve gone off to go see her. Since she still feels that Proctor and Abigail still have something together. The way to express ignorance is to claim your right on what you think about the people around you.
