Vacation destinations are usually viewed as places where people travel to relax and escape from the realities of everyday life. When going on an excursion to a tropical island or an amusement park, it is easy to forget how much hard work is put into creating the perfect experience guests. Walt Disney World, located in Orlando, Florida, is one of the most popular vacation destinations for families all around the world. Disney World is known for its ability to bring fairytales to life through themed attractions and interactive character experiences. From the outside, it may appear that this vacation spot only exists to make a profit, but the implementation of creativity and hard work has shown me that through those means, success and happiness can be achieved. …show more content…
The attractions are created by immersing guests into the fantasy world of their favorite movies through the use of digital animatronics, sounds, and realistic images. One of my favorite attractions is called Peter Pan’s Flight which takes the guest on a journey over London while following Peter Pan and his friends. While aboard the ship, one can see the city of London from a bird’s eye view. Tiny moving cars traveling at slow speeds and miniature painted cookie cutter houses lining the blocks of London can be seen from above. While the ship travels over the lagoon, the trickling sounds of running water and the chirping of seagulls can be heard off in the distance, providing realistic sound effects for guests. This is one of the most popular attractions at Magic Kingdom, and many are fond of it because of the creativity and artistry used in the London scene. When people exit this ride, they elated because they were able to immerse themselves in their favorite childhood
