In the book The Great Gatsby the symbol of T.J Eckleberg was two big blue eyes that were covered with glasses. This symbol didn’t have a face but the main point was to show you that God was staring down on you. God is judging the moral wasteland of the American society in this particular book. As i was watching the movie and reading the book i realize that not only the billboard was repetitive it was shown every time something bad was about to happen.
