We've all been through a path in which we've doubted God. We've all learned what it's like to be the outsider. But there is one day every week in which we are able to go and learn more about our Lord. No one is perfect. He is perfect. God loves us, He loves you. He never stopped, and He never will.
So why do we doubt Him? Are we breaking away from Christ? Will God forgive me of my sins and doubts? The Lord will never abandon you. We doubt Him because of sin. Everyone has doubted Him. But that doesn't mean that you're a terrible Christian.
We were put on this earth for a reason. That reason is not to break away from God. We may go our separate ways. But if you are a true Christian you will always believe that God is with you. He is the refuge in the storm, the hero during our crisis. The love in our life. He is our very being. He made you, loves you, cares for you.

Even if you have fallen from Him. Even if you've never went to church before. God loves you. You are beautiful. Many people will try to tell you otherwise. But those who have hurt you are broken. They are jealous of your relationship with God. You should embrace God. Embrace your personality. Embrace others around you.
Many of my friends were not religious in the past years. They used to make fun of me because of my belief. I soon resented going to church, I was embarrassed of God. I was embarrassed that I was His child and that He was my Father. That was the biggest sin I have ever made.
I doubted God more and more everyday. I struggled with my faith and that costed me dearly. I lost myself, I pushed away others. It was as if I was living a completely different life. Now, I've converted most of my friends to
After this, I began going to church more often, around once every month. However, my faith journey took a big turn once high school came around. I decided to go to Bellarmine. This opened up a completely new door to me, teaching me the ways of God and the goodness of people.
For example, Wiesel beings to doubt God really exist, is God really his savior. Wiesel states, “Why do you go on troubling these poor people’s wounded minds, their ailing bodies?” (Wiesel 84). In other words, Wiesel is now questioning God because he is allowing all the horrible things to happen, and he is not coming down to help any of his people.
Typically for those who practice religion, it is easy to convince yourself that God is watching over you when all is well. The challenge however comes when all is lost. Thoughts of ,”How could God let this happen if he is a loving God?”, and “Why my people out of the billions of people on this earth?” come to mind and really make you ponder whether your faith matters. Many men lost their faith and then proceeded to lose their lives. Namely the ,”Poor Akiba Drumer, if only he could have kept his faith in God, if only he could have considered this suffering a divine test, he would not have been swept away by the selection.
“It isn't fair how I doubt him, and I wonder if he'll ever gather that my loss of faith extends further than I'd ever known it would, severing lines of trust and leveling my confidence like a city-flattening tornado.” “(Webber).” This quote by Tammara Webber shows that no matter how much faith you have before in some situations it may go away in an instant making you not only wonder just how much faith did you lose and the lines of trust that was broken, but also how much you now doubt your god making you slowly grow as a new person gaining confidence as you start to go through more and more soul crushing hardships that make you think at what cost. Hard experiences that make you do and believe things you never thought you would of in your
When it comes to having faith in God most only call upon him in the time of need or when it benefits them. Just because a person attends church on Sundays (God's day) one assumes that their life and "dues" or "debts" to God have been repaid for their sins that week. For one who believes knows that, that just is not the case and that he should be their number one priority in life and the rest follows and finally putting their selfishness at the end, thus the He before me. Not saying that any one person is perfect and never sins or puts themselves before God but, saying that often it is the case of seeing one only calls upon God in their own time of need or when it is convenient for them. Such the grandmother was calling upon her faith in God when she sees that her life is coming to an end, just to ask him to save her and forgive The Misfit for his sins.
This is similar to what the Jews went through, only on a smaller scale. Elie Wiesel was only fifteen years old when his world changed forever. He was a target for the sole reason of him being Jewish. He along with around six million other Jews were sent to Nazi death camps and were either immediately killed or forced to do hard labor. All of these horrible things rattled many people’s devoted faith in God.
This led him to question his faith in God. Even the strongest human loyalties can be
Most f us have doubted God at one point or another in our relationship with him. That is the work of satan, he tries to separate us from Christ, and our relationship with Him. we just need
I had asked God to show me His love for me like if He needed to prove it. In my questioning and in my doubts, I made it seem as if I didn't trust Him. He took my hand and led me to a crowded street. I could barely see through all the crowd.
and I did not receive the chance to get to know these influential people as much as I would have liked to. As time went on, the questioned lingered with me and then I was hit with another loss of my last grandparent. I again questioned God’s motifs for this event and his love for me. In the next 4 years, I was hit with minor catastrophes, getting two surgeries, a house fire, and a car accident. These events withered my faith almost to the point that it is completely gone.
When I go through similar conflicts I always try to turn back to who brought me this far and try to reassure my faith just as Eliezar
C.S. Lewis once said, “I believe in Christ, like I believe in the sun- not because I can see it, but by it I can see everything else.” I have used this quote as a guide for myself throughout my journey to finding the Lord. Putting my faith into someone “intangible” and having faith in Christ has not been an easy task for me, given I was not raised in an extremely religious household. However, I was about fourteen when I discovered God’s word, felt my heart swell with happiness, and fell in love with Christ. That day changed my life entirely, and completely changed my outlook of the world.
We humans just like the sheep do we tend to get off the righteousness path that God has prepared for us and commanded us to follow. We are lost and afraid but just as the Psalm continue in the following verses I shall fear no evil for you are with me. God’s grace and mercy is constantly present. Just as the Shepard never went away it was they sheep that he is telling that I am here I’m not going anywhere this can be said about the relationship and the presence of God. He will never forsake us
If a man of great faith who becomes a saint can question the meaning behind scripture and even question God then it makes it more obvious that doubt and
Throughout life, people are often faced with many decisions. Some of these decisions are easy to make, while others are excruciating, as they can be life altering. From a Christian’s perspective, however, people never have to make these decisions alone. God promises that he will never abandon his people, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you” (New International Version, Deuteronomy 31:6).
