Magic Johnson once said “I have to tell you, I’m proudest of my life of the court. There will always be great basketball players who bounce that little round ball, but my proudest moments are affecting people's lives, effecting change, being a role model in the community”(Magic Johnson Quotes). A lot of people don’t know who Magic Johnson is and what he did. He not only changed the face of sports and changed many people's lives with his decision. The way Magic Johnson lived his life demonstrates athleticism, leadership, and courageousness.
Magic Johnson demonstrated athleticism by having one of the most successful careers in history of sports. From his high school triple double game to winning a NBA Finals most valuable player (“Magic Johnson”). He has done it all and knows the game of basketball better than the back of his own hands.

In 1977 he won a high school championship for lansing, Michigan. 1979 he won a college championship for Michigan St, He achieved his greatest success in the professional ranks giving the Los Angeles Lakers five NBA championships in 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, and 1988 (Magic Johnson -- Biography). He won seven very important championship in his carrer, in each and every game he was the leader of the team. And clearly he was a one of a kind leader to bring that much success to him and his teammates in his carrer. But his first year in the NBA is where he really found out how important a leader

John Robert Wooden, a well-known basketball coach, was born on the 14th of October, in 1910. This was the start of a legacy as one of the greatest basketball coaches in our history today. John Wooden has brought a legacy to the sporting industry, and still has to this day. John Wooden’s legacy has influenced many teams, encouraged many players to achieve greatness, and brought history to the world of sports.
Gary "The Great" Living the life of Gary Trent Jr. isn't an easy life to live. Growing up in Apple Valley, a town home to the Minnesota Timberwolves finest, Tyus Jones. Gary tries to make a name for himself, and succeeds by being ranked number five in the US for boy's basketball players. Going from the court, to college visits, and big decision making, it may seem nice watching all the success from the outside, but there's so much more to it. The reason why I wanted to interview Gary is because of all the exposure and attention Gary has gotten in his basketball career.

Without a doubt, Bill Bradley achieved great success as a citizen-athlete. Some people believe that his family background is what accounts for most of Bradley’s great success as a citizen-athlete. Bradley grew up in a wealthy household. Growing up for Bradley, money was not an issue in any kind of way. He was the only child, so he pretty much received everything he wanted.

Perhaps the most significant, valuable, and crucial word that comes to mind though, basketball. The “ How good is Oscar Robertson?” Red Auerbach - a highly respected NBA coach for many years- once said, “He is so good he scares me.” His sheer talent and dedication got him to the National Basketball Association (NBA), but his, hard work and will to win kept him there.
John Wooden inspired others off and on the court, he taught people the basic necessities of how to live with the right choice in mind. His places of words are presented in the coaching world today: teacher, mentor, and guide because his ways of teaching were extraordinary. John Wooden legacy was the creation of the “Pyramid of Success” giving others a guide towards life, and allowing his basketball achievements as an aid of his creation. John Wooden was called the “Wizard of Westwood” for one of his greatest in accomplishments as a basketball player and coach. “Wooden was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame again in 1973 for his remarkable coaching accomplishments, making him the first person to be honored as a player and coach”- UCLA
Michael jordan is the first youngest person to get a basketball dunking championship award’. Mr. Jordan has made a lot of effort for his basketball team. HE is smart not to get in trouble with the police by doing anything stupid. I respect him because he is smart and is very talented. HE did not make his freshman basketball

Not only did Kobe Bryant manage to excel other players' dreams, but also his. Bryant is the most influential person in the last 40 years because of all his contributions outside of the game, his final impact on society, and his determination and his goals. Bryant didn't only contribute outside of the game, but also helped the game as well. Basketball was also part of his charity work.
Through Michael Jordan’s athletic success on the court, he was able to make himself and his brand into a cultural icon, which had a great impact on the game of basketball, fashion, marketing, and the economy in America. Before Jordan took on the rest of society, he was focussed on the game of basketball. Jordan was the face of the NBA. He took the game to new heights through his game changing performances. Starting in college at the University of North Carolina, Jordan proved to everyone that he was going to be something spectacular in the NBA.
No matter what he is doing at every moment he spends doing something he does it with a passion and competes no matter what. Michael Jordan was also a very nice person he was passionate, and would always bring you up if you 're feeling down or low. American novelist and basketball player Michael Jordan used his life to write and discuss drive, ideas on being a better person, and being an individual within his novel “Driven from within”. Michael Jordan was a kid that struggled and overcame the life that he had and grinded at basketball and became an NBA player. Michael Jordan grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina but was born in Brooklyn New York City on February 17, 1963.
There are a plethora of things inspired Kobe to have a long career in the NBA. One of the things that inspired him was how much he loved the sport. Kobe Bryant said, "It 's the enjoyment of the game and the love of it. Then it 's the low hanging fruit of responding to this challenge. I mean it 's right there, it 's very easy to get me going" ("Kobe Bryant Best Motivational Speech").
Michael Jordan, a passionate basketball player, became the best he could be all because he loved the sport. Passion consumed this athlete and drove him to go above and beyond to become the best. This drove him to put in an extra hour of practice, study the sport, run the extra mile and put in every thing he possibly could all because he was passionate. Full potential can’t be reached without it. Passion is so powerful; it consumes every other feeling in the body.
