Founded in 1971, ACSUS encourages creative and scholarly activity in Canadian studies, facilitates the exchange of ideas among Canadianists in the U.S., Canada, and other countries, enhances the teaching of Canada in the U.S., and promotes Canada as an area of academic inquiry." The site has information about the association, grants it sponsors, publications, and conferences.

This web page has aims of the association, who they are affiliated with, conferences, bulletins, debates, and membership fees, and the executive committee of this association. They list the journals that they publish on a regular basis and that they are actively trying to recruit more people who can help on the research that they are doing. It also lists links to the similar sites that could have more information on what this association is attempting to accomplish.

There are restricted areas for members.
The Southern Poverty Law Center
