It contains statistics, taxpayer information, forms, publications, and more. Everything that a taxpayer needs to know about filing a tax return can be found here. This site also educates taxpayers on a multitude of tax topics.

This site contains a great deal of information for both individual and business taxpayers, as well a downloadable tax forms, instructions and IRS publications. Individuals can use an interactive tool Tax Trails to find out the answers to frequently asked questions about exemptions, deductions and credits. A text-only version is also available.

- This site is a public service of Drake Software and contains downloadable copies of U.S. federal and state income tax forms and instructions. There are also links to state revenue department pages, the IRS BBS system, tax news and a tax preparer database for finding tax preparers by geographical location (probably those using Drake Software). The forms are in "PDF" format and require the use of free software for viewing and printing (the Adobe Acrobat Reader). This site has a link to Adobe for downloading the reader. This is a good site to use when the IRS site gets overloaded at tax filing time.
