Why do I want to attend college? College is an honorary achievement and it separates the determined from the undetermined. Owning a college to degree is an honor and an ecstatic feeling. Through college, that job is that much closer in the grasp. Through college, a person can perform at an elite level and really push themselves for greatness. I wish to attend college to further enhance my education, to be a first generation college student, and to become a better version of myself. First, I wish to enhance and further my education. I have a few things I need to work on as a person. One key thing I have to change is, procrastination. I have been procrastinating my whole life. I rather put it off then to just get it over with. In the real world, I can potentially lose my job if I put a project or a piece of work off until later. I believe college will change that. Also, I wish to become a better man. With the absence of my father, I had no one to teach me how to be a man and really take care of my responsibilities. It is hard for a mother to teach her son how to be a man, therefore my goal is to become an outstanding man that can handle business and take care of his family. That is my ultimate goal and in return I will teach my son and he will represent for our family name. Overall, I wish to attend college to better all aspects of my life. I desire to maximize my potential and work ethic to become better. Being a first generation student will not be easy, for I have no one to tell me about experiences.
