For instance an individual that is overweight and has a high BMI is making their heart work ten times harder when walking or doing daily activities because the heart and body has so much extra weight to carry around. Electronics are very advantageous to a certain extent, but similar to what Iyer stated, it’s crucial to step back and realize that there is an entire world going on around us.

Eco-friendly, going green, upcycled and living the simple life are all fairly conventional words used in today’s society. As Americans, we find ourselves living in a world of abundance, where everything from food to clothing are all mass-produced and purchased excessively by today’s consumers.
