Louise Lone Dog was born in 1928 in Chilicothe, Ohio and was educated at local schoolsis a resident of New York City and local spiritualist. She is the author of Strange Journey: th Vision of a Psychic Indian Woman, a peculiar meld of 1960s metaphysics, traditional Indian spiritulity, and Christianity. Her writing has been influenced by such works as Black Elk Speaks.
