Judith Volborth (Mountain Leaf, Ivaloo), 1950-

Judith Volborth was born in New York City. Volborth graduated from UCLA in 1986, where she developed her writing skills. Tribal themes and the struggles of Native women dominate her writings. She lives in Santa Monica, CA. Her work has been included in the Heard Museum Library and Archives, Native American Artists Resource Collection, in Phoenix, AZ. She was also selected by the San Francisco Art Commission for installation of a bronze plaque of her poem Ancient Rain as part of the Waterfront Art Project.
