Armand Garnet Ruffo
, 1955-

Ojibwe

Armand Ruffo is an Ojibway poet who was born in Northern Ontario and is currently living in Ottawa, Canada. He teaches in the Carleton University English Department and acts as associate director of the Centre for Aboriginal Education, Research and Culture. Prior to teaching there, he received a M.A. in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Windsor. His poetry has appeared in many anthologies. He also writes plays (including Ghost Woman and A Windigo Tale), essays, and stories.
