Win Blevins
, 1938-

Win Blevins was born in 1938 in Arkansas. He received a BA at the University of Missouri, a MA from Columbia University, and a post-doc degree from the University of Southern California. Blevins was a music, theater and film critic for two Los Angeles papers before beginning a full-time writing career. In addition to fourteen novels and four non-fiction books, he has written screenplays and articles for newspapers and magazines. As of 2010, Blevins is the Gaylord Visiting Professor
at the Writing School of the U. of Oklahoma.
