The American Business and Managing Consultant, who specialized in organisation of management and cultural change, sadly passed away on 31 October 2005 at the age of 78. To this day the famous Albert S. Humphrey is referenced by famous industrialists as well as political leaders. This is thanks to his innovative ideas and intellectual inheritance, left behind in his publications for generations to come. The SWOT Analysis Model is a useful investigative technique used to analyse projects and business ventures. This framework, work well with certain ventures and strategies as it permits the entity to weigh all the factors against one another before making a commitment or allow them to make adjustments where needed. The SWOT analysis provided an insight on Growthpoint Properties Ltd. It gives clues to where possible changes could be made for the coming year and what threats can be expected. The company will have to make sure that all available financial capital is utilized optimally in order to decrease loan rates. The Taxation Rate increase on VAT will an impact on Growthpoint Properties and will need to be addressed. The clients will need to be addressed and well-informed. However, Growthpoint Properties will have to ensure that they adjust their internal controls to the VAT 1% increase that will be brought into practiced from April 2018.
