In the past decades, educationists were focusing on the 3 Rs (reading, writing, & arithmetic) in schools based on the assumption that these 3 skills are the main skills to succeed in life later on (Husin et al., 2016). However, in today’s globalized 21st century, students need to be provided with a new set of skills that will contribute to the establishment of a higher order thinking individual that is able to innovate, invent and solve problems in the 21st century (Husin et al.,2016). Furthermore, the labor market’s demands are changing. Today, every academic or vocational student, need to learn the 21st-century skills to succeed in life.
