Lawrence Parker also known as KRS-One, which is an anagram for Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everyone, left home at sixteen in 1981 to pursue a new type of musical art and expressionism: that of an emcee. By 1987, he and his musical partner, DJ Scott La Rock, would release their first ever album under the group name Boogie Down Productions, it was called “Criminal Minded”. The debut album of KRS-One and Scott La Rock featured the two on the cover draped in ammunition and brandishing multiple guns. This album is credited for providing the template for what would soon become “Gangsta” and “Hardcore” rap music. Soon after, they were rejected by the community’s most popular radio DJs, Mr. Magic and Marley Marl.
As soon as Waka Flaka came on to the stage, his presence, energy, and his music exemplified what Black Music was all about. It was about engaging your audience; it was about making people feel a part of the music and the culture. It was about sharing who he was and what his culture is with everyone. It was unique and full of life. His energy stayed at the same momentum until the performance ended, never skipping a beat or forgetting what he was there for.
On this day 20 years ago, hip-hop lost one of the greatest rappers to ever pick up a mic. A pioneer, a trailblazer, a legend, Biggie Smalls changed rap forever with his rhymes, and unique flow that so many try to replicate today. A lot of people including myself wonder what hip-hop would be like if Biggie was still alive till this day. Regardless of what you think, the impact that he made in such a short time still allows a person to make a valid argument that he's the greatest of all time. Christopher Wallace was murdered March 9th, 1997 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 24.
His singular style of play brought joy to millions, and has likewise led to the spread of cultural acceptance mentality that is present in his songs. Dave Matthews was an exceptional player who brought something fresh to the table where the music industry was dominated by rap and grime music. His music, instead of containing lyrics that hold contempt for others, preached acceptance of all polishes. Matthews was also an incredible success with successful multiple visits and a great fan base that allowed Matthews to achieve four platinum albums, and one independent album gold. The music of Dave Matthews preaches acceptance of cultures, and I think Matthews intends to shift the point of persuasion of people about different cultures through his speech.
"I 've known Mike for almost 20 years, but dude could have alluded to the fact that he was marrying Jill Scott(lol)! All he said was, u are working with her in Vegas. A couple of weeks ago rap icon Jay Z added fuel for the second half of 2017 & released his thirteenth studio album 4:44. Just a week after it 's release the album has received general acclaim from critics & has already gone platinum, thanks to the assistance of Tidal & Sprint, providing another reason why 2017 has been a good year for hip hop. The entire album is produced by legendary hip hop producer No I.D., who creates soulful beats that share the same color of emotion that each track displays, making sure the samples are parallel to the themes. By sampling from The Alan Parson Projects an intro like "Kill Jay Z," can sound like a second moment of clarity for Jigga Man as he embraces the impact of his ugly truths. Even Caribbean elements

So without Elvis helping along with integration through his music, we might not have had as many people sold on the idea of integration. In conclusion, hands down, Elvis Presley was the most influential person in American society. He had a large impact on the gap between teenagers and their parents. He defined rock music which we still hear all the time in society today. And, without him and his music some people might have put up even more of a fight when the integration laws were
