3D animation processes in sequence are concept development, pre-production stage, animation production stage and lastly post-production stage.

Concept development stage - Determine the main idea of the animation which sets the basis and wireframe for the final piece.

Pre-production stage
Story – Creating a compelling story to let characters to develop and audience have easy understanding about the whole story. Storytelling tools have script and storyboard (Script analysis, research, thumbnails drawing, draft storyboard and final storyboard).
3D Animatic – It is an animation clip which not include detailed modelling or texturing of the characters or objects. The aim is to determine the animation movement, timing of the models animation, …show more content…

Among fully 3D animation workflow, animation production will take longest time. Since there are many works involved in it, it does be the most time-consumption aspect. There are several 3D software to produce 3D animation, e.g. Cinema 4D.
MAXON C4D [MAXON Cinema 4D] Cinema 4D is one of the well-known graphic and animation creating software which is intuitive and function able. It allows artists to do transition into 3D graphics and animation with more ordinary graphics technology. Artists can create objects that whatever come through their mind and convert into graphic or animation that they want in an instant. Moreover, there is no limit for artists to show off imagination and any design modelling or animation creation by using Cinema 4D. There are always opportunities for artists to challenge not their own skills but also the creativity. C4D can be useful in a wide range, due to the powerful graphic technology which means anything imaginable will be …show more content…

Each frame equalize to an image. In produce animation stage, it consists o a series of images flashing one at a time. The number of images flashed in each second identify the smoothness of the animation movement and that is so-called frame per second [fps]. The timeline is used to key in or adjust all frames that have recorded. Sometimes, it might not be enough to create the good visual quality by just animating the character, therefore, there are demands for camera animation. There are mainly four types of camera objects in Cinema 4D which are: Free Camera, Target Camera, Stereo Camera and Motion Camera. Target Camera needs to set one target object and the camera will keep track on the object all the time. Cameras are also needed to set key frame at the timeline by key in proper coordinates. There is also another way to animate the movement of camera which is creating one spline shape and let the camera ‘Align to Spline’. Thus, the camera will moves along the specific path that scenes
