It was the first day of 3rd grade. I thought it was going to be the best year because I was known as an older kid. I also thought it was going to be the best year because I saw this kid that looked like he will be a good friend with. I went up to this kid and asked if he will want to be friends with me, and his answer was. “Well I guess.” I asked him what his name was and he said Larry. I finally met a new kid on the first day. The kid Larry is still friends with me today and we keep on telling people of how we became friends because I asked him “If he wants to be friends with me?” And his response was “Yes.” My new friend Larry and I waited outside for our teacher to let us and the other kids in the class. We saw our new teacher and I …show more content…
During the year this new teacher acted like she was like the president of the class and of the school. This teacher always wanted the class to go her way and we had to follow every little thing she said to do. We never got a fun day unless the other teacher in the grade said we could and had to. This was only when we had field trips and school presentations. It was really rare for our class to do fun stuff. Everyone thought it was the worst year of school of their life I think our class only had one fun and fun day and that was at the the last day of …show more content…
I kept on trying to tell them that my teacher was crazy but they didn’t listen. So from that day forward I kept on telling people what she did. I did not try to make it into a rumor but it had to be said. It was about a week after the incident with the ruler that teacher finally found out what people were saying. So that teacher asked us to sit on the carpet. When we were all seated she started talking about the ruler incident. She made us feel so bad about even talking about that. She told us how it was such a big deal and whoever started the rumor (with two fingers going up and down) will be punished. No one stood up even though the ones who said it in the first place was me and 5 others. When we were talking about the ruler incident she wrote down the h word onto the board, and she said “School is a living H***.” At that moment the whole class went completely silent. You could hear a pin drop. That's how quiet it was. None of us talked that whole day. The whole class thought to tell the principal and when we did she thought we were just wanting that teacher to get in
She started out by running around the soccer field until she started to breathe very heavily. Later on that day Emily and I got called out of class. To our surprise, Brooklyn ended up having a asthma attack. The teachers asked us about it, we could have easily lied about it and been out of trouble but instead we told the truth. By doing so this made us look pretty bad but we would have looked even
One day Ms.Granda ( the teacher ) had a problem with him and one of her best students while they were working one a group project. The other kids picked on him, because they didn't understated his home station. Ms.Granda took the girls that were academically strong and told them. He
I was so frustrated that lot of girls were in my class. The classroom was way different from the classrooms
Monsters (Page 131-1370 This chapter was very fascinating because it depicts children play/talk about stories. Akemi was the only little girl that talked about monster, she depicted a story about monsters. Her story actually depicted a monster, generally little girls stories do not contain monsters doing vicious things. As the chapter continued it talked about different stories little girls told about monsters. Deana’s story of a giant did not make the giant scary, but depicted him as a thief.
“They surged about her, caught her up & bore her, protesting, and then pleading… back into a tunnel, a room, a closet, where they slammed & locked the door & saw it tremble from her beating & throwing herself against it… Then smiling they turned and went out & back down the tunnel, just as the teacher arrived.” (pg. 3) They don’t care what she says & they do it behind the teachers back. Therefore, she can’t do anything about it because she doesn’t know about it. The suspense at this point is tremendous.
On yesterday, I did not have a substitute for my class. So, Thea Johnson was asked to watch my class. As Thea walked through my class, I began thanking her. She mentioned jokingly, “She haven’t had her medicine, and she didn’t want to be bothered.” She told me I had to do something about by “crazy students” and I better have some work.
That was the best day of my life. 10th grade was not as cool as 9th grade. 10th these people would stare at me like in a mean until I find out that it was this mean girl in school she hated every one and she had two girls that would walk with her everywhere she went. The girls looked mean. One day as I was walking down the hall and one of the girl tried to trip me
and i called her out in the middle of class and i told her to
The next day my mom picked me up early from school so that we can go and tour my soon to be school. When we got to my soon to be school I was very nervous the principal named Mrs.Nybo gave me and my mom a school tour. We looked in the 6th grade hall and there was a bunch of kids that I did not know. Then at the end of the tour we just talked about ipads and all of the things that they had at this school. The next day I went to school and all of my friends sat with me at lunch and we talked and my friend Jillian asked me why I
During class whenever she wouldn't stop talking or goofing around, she would have to stick her nose in a circle on the chalkboard and stay there for the rest of class or until the teacher told her to go sit down again. She spent a lot of time up at the chalkboard in her days of schooling. In 5th grade she was sent to the office again but this
Near the end of the period they kept talking to your helpers at their table and I had to tell them to do their worksheets. Two other students I had to tell repeatedly throughout the hour to do their work
I walked in and found a seat in the back. The teacher was sitting at his desk, with a goofy look on his face. The bell rang and he stepped up to the front of the class and introduced himself. He then asked us to introduce ourselves. We went around the class and said our names.
We were all talking and she got mad at the class and
There are other ways to handle those situations and I plan to use them. . “Everyone else understands this, why can’t you?” the words that no student wants to hear their teacher announce in front of the whole class. Unfortunately, this is what happened to me and it made me
I 'm one of the first in the classroom, and I drop my stuff in the seat closest to the door. The chairs swivel and that 's how I spend my time before everyone else stumbles in. My teacher has a pudgy red face, a hairline like lawnmower tracks. Tomorrow, he will start class by listing all the "unacceptable"
