The third season would mark Vivan’s character missing for six episodes. In real life, Vivian had married and wanted to stay on the East Coast. The episodes were more about Lucy and Mr. Mooney. This change had less time for the kids on screen. The fourth season was a bit of a shock to viewers. In the first episode, Lucy has moved to California, Chris has started college, Jerry is applying to military school, and Vivian has gotten married and she and her son have stayed in Danfield. Viv, Sherman, and Chris have left the show and Jerry only makes two appearances. Lucy is now taking odd jobs at record companies, cinemas, and movie studios. Many of the characters changed a lot base on their attitudes, relationships, beliefs, priorities, and many more. Most of these changes lead to when Loretta and her two kids went away for a while, to visit her other family from the Delta with Uncle Earl. In the books Firebreak and The Fifth Season there are two characters that have obtained multifaceted characteristics in order to survive and fit into their dangerous worlds. Both Damaya from The Fifth Season, and 06, from Firebreak, have to make hard decisions. These decisions derive from their circumstances of being powerful forces in a powerless man's world. Their powers and capabilities have been controlled and limited due to their upbringing, however, they use their powers in ways that stray from what they have been taught in order to follow what they believe is right. Although they share some multifaceted characteristics, they differ in the fact that 06 took more initiative in pursuing the things she believed was right, as opposed to Damaya
In The Lesson Before Dying, there are many instances of racial discrimination and inequality, but there are also several accounts of lessons being taught discreetly. Several main lessons that are taught in this novel is that humans cannot be dehumanized by other people from injustice, accepting your fate, and that change is imperative. For centuries, people have always judged and made their assumptions about a person just by their actions and outlooks on certain subjects. If people degrade each other's opinions, there is no way that the world can truly move on to making new inventions and expanding our knowledge of unknown entities because the public is too busy defending their opinions. It is imperative that people change their ways of making other people feel bad, especially when some are only judging by race or sexuality.

Mobina Shams “Benjamin, don’t underestimate the mentally ill”: The perceptions caused by others in Joon’s life. Self-perception is an element of behavior, and can be described as imperfect self-knowledge. Our self-image is created by society, its expectations, and the influence of others around us. Through the years, society has created conjectures that we need to meet in order to be accepted by others.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (SUNNY) is the type of show that you can absolutely get nothing good from. Five main characters, Dee, Dennis, Frank, Mac and Charlie, who are absolute immoral, narcissistic sociopath, also known as “the gang”, run a ghetto Irish bar in South Philly. Here is an example illustrates how out of mind they are. When Dee told the gang that she was having a baby, the initial response from Frank, who is Dee’s father, was “do yourself a favor and flash it out.” (Youtube) We can obviously say that the gang is probably the least favorite stereotypes of sitcoms.
The quote “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass it’s about learning how to dance in the rain” means that we should learn how to our lives even at struggling times of our lives. There are times when we are feeling down or going through tough times. Weather it’s bad grades or a tragic event. I can make a text to text connection from this quote. In the book “We Beat The Street” by George W Jenkins, Rameck Hunt, and Sampson Davis, is about a how three african americans from Newark, New Jersey became successful doctors.
What do you value most in others, a kind heart, empathy, or the inability to look past how others see you? Judging somebody off something that they can’t control shows how you look at the people around you and what you value in them. Everyone runs deeper and more complex than their social status and how people perceive them. This is why the most important thesis in S.E Hinton’s novel, The Outsiders is that social status doesn't define a person, it’s judging somebody over social status that defines them People are more complex than how people view them. Ponyboy; a Greaser was smart, loved to read and enjoyed watching the sunset but wasn't viewed as such.
The Red Couch Tour has a strong influence on Canadians and conveys a clear message through these different stories. The main artifact is a red couch with the Canada’s 150 maple leaf logo; and the location of the red couch placement is close to the ‘empty space’ of Canada. The secondary artifact is the invited Canadians who story tell about Canada’s past time and identities. The meaning of the artifact is more than what meets the eyes; this event develops on the theme of unification, storytelling and cultural nationalism. These theme is described from this quote, “Instead of going to peoples’ living rooms, we’re taking it to them.
One Tree Hill is a teen drama/romance television series that aired between the years 2003 and 2012. This show can appeal to teenagers and young adults, and is a very plot driven show that easily appeals to these age groups. Throughout this fictional town, each character has hardships and deals with sensitive issues, such as sexual intercourse, drugs, marriage, adoption, affairs, conflicts etc. What people do not understand is that this series shows realistic events that could occur in high school, and that it also talks about serious problems that teens deal with in their everyday lives.

Brook and Sophia had to become more comfortable with my dad and his side of the family. Like as if it as their own family. After all these tragic events they had different lives.
“The Hero’s Journey” is term for a narrative style that was identified by scholar Joseph Campbell. The narrative pattern would depict a character’s heroic journey, and categorize the character’s experiences into three large sections: departure, which contained the hero’s call to adventure, fulfillment, which consisted of the hero’s initiation, trials, and transformation, and finally the return. The novel The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan investigates the relationship and actions of four Chinese women and their daughters. The character Lindo Jong’s youth in China exemplifies the three part heroic journey in how she leaves the familiar aspects in her life, faces trials in the home of her betrothed, ..... Departure:
