Transportation is the movement of people, animals and goods from one location to another. The invention of the car was a revolutionary breakthrough in the history, along with the invention of ships, planes, trains, buses and subways. For over a hundred of years, since the invention of the first car, cars have been manufactured with differences in design, appearance, and performance, all with the intent of improving transportation. This generation, more than ever, demanding manufacturers to keep up with the fast pace of life; to get more knowledge of cars, such as muscle, hybrid, and electric cars, one should further look into the history and progressions that have been made thus far with the three types of models.
There has always been those certain environmental people that say that diesel trucks are bad for the environment. What those people do not usually know is not surprising to anyone that knows a diesel engine. The only thing that they know to say is "that black stuff that comes out of the truck when they "roll coal" is bad for the environment. A diesel has many different ways that make it a better vehicle.
In the bright lights of the showroom the 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner rolls out onto the elevated platform and roars, while the crowd oohs and aahs at it’s glory. The Roadrunner was known for being tough, durable, and the famous “beep beep” as the horn from the Wile E. and the Road Runner cartoon. Even though this car was known for being based off of a cartoon, it had an intricate engine and some riveting facts, an interesting design, and a certain amount of horsepower that some people can’t catch up to when it was out on the streets.

This saloon was my pride and joy; much like Braggs convertible was to him. This Jaguar also has a 350 V-8 small block; the rumble it makes when it starts up, as well as the sound of it idling is something you don’t hear in modern day cars. There honestly is something about owning an old car that you almost always have to do something to it as it is quite old. Although for Bragg, his was only 7 years old at the time his story took place, still truly is a pleasure to own something unique that you put your own blood sweat and tears into.
In Ramon “Tiangus” Perez personal essay the“The Fender-Bender” he writes about two distinct characters, An Anglo driver and a Chicano cop; although they both express the emotion anger and both want to resolve the Fender-bender, the Chicano marks their differences in personalities as he is a prejudice and is wicked as compared to the reasonable and non prejudice. In the moment that Perez puts his car on reverse he accidentally rear ends the company van of the Anglo-Saxon. As the Anglo gets out to see the damage on the van he directs his anger towards Perez and asks him for his license, in which Perez responds with he doesn't have it. His reaction, as stated by Perez, “He scratches his head. He is breathing heavily with fury” (176). The Anglo

When I first got my car I was so happy I. I was happy with my car because I could go anywhere.I would go out with my friends or out with my family. If I would be feeling down I would go grab my keys and go for a drive. When I got back home I felt better and I would be happy again. I don’t have to be sad to go for a drive. It doesn't matter what my mood, I still like to go for a drive.

An Italian author, M.T. Dismuke, once boldly stated, “The only freedom you truly have is in your mind, so use it”. Each human bears their own individual intrinsic qualities that separate them from everybody else, and without these qualities all would be one and the same. I was born with the quality of a tinkerer, or creator, and grew up knowing that this was what I was meant to do, and would always do. For the entirety of my life, I’ve been doing just as M.T. Dismuke has exclaimed using the free-running creativity locked away within my mind to bring new ideas and creations into the world.

This choice interest me because it’s teaching me how to take clients and rebuild a wreck car to make it look better. It also helping to blend new paint and original paint. It helps how to get dents out of the body of the cars. Helps you to put putty on it the correct way and don’t sand through it. That’s what interests I have in auto collision.
