Many laws and regulations have been made because of the occurrence that happened on September 11th, 2011. These laws and regulations have been both harmful and helpful to America Society in numerous ways. On September 11th, 2011, three airplanes were hijacked by foreign terrorist which planned to crash into the twin towers. However, one plan did not make it to the twin towers and later crashed into the pentagon. This was one of the most traumatic events that occurred in the United Stated.

Another attack on the twin towers before 9/11 occurred on 2/26/1993 when a bomb was placed in the back of a van and driven to the base of the Twin Towers and exploded, about 6 people were killed, but thousands were injured (Langley, 42). Almost every year, my teachers taught about 9/11, but they never really went into much detail. My knowledge prior to this assignment was that four planes were hijacked by terrorists, and three of the planes crashed into their destination.
