Many laws and regulations have been made because of the occurrence that happened on September 11th, 2011. These laws and regulations have been both harmful and helpful to America Society in numerous ways. On September 11th, 2011, three airplanes were hijacked by foreign terrorist which planned to crash into the twin towers. However, one plan did not make it to the twin towers and later crashed into the pentagon. This was one of the most traumatic events that occurred in the United Stated.

9/11 became the day that a tragic event killed thousands, injured hundreds and changed America forever. On September 11, 2001, also known as 9/11, one of the greatest tragedies had struck America. This was caused by a terrorist attack that will forever be remembered by Americans. The attack started at 8:45 a.m. when the flight, American Airlines Boeing 767, that was holding 20,000 gallons of jet fuel crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center that was located in New York City.

The events that occurred during 9/11 have shaped American society in monumental ways. When the planes crashed into the world trade center, the pentagon, and the remote field, it finally forced America to open their eyes. They were forced to realize the importance of the inhabitants and the Dharma (role) that we all play in this world. As said in an article, history is never concrete. From what we can tell, history always reflects the current events.

The first ever hijacking was in Peru in 1931 (Hijacking, n.p.) and the first US Hijacking was on May 1, 1961 when a florida-bound plane was taken to Cuba (Hijacking, n.p.) Another attack on the twin towers before 9/11 occurred on 2/26/1993 when a bomb was placed in the back of a van and driven to the base of the Twin Towers and exploded, about 6 people were killed, but thousands were injured (Langley, 42). The government ignored warnings when Al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, had made a statement on the subject of using aircraft in an attack against the US but it wasn’t taken seriously(Langley, 69).There were 19 hijackers in total, 5 being in each plane except for the one that crashed into Pennsylvania which had 4 hijackers in it (Langley, 20) AA Flight 11 was the plane that hit the northern tower

The events of the day were summarized as 19 militants associated with the terror group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out targeted attacks in the United States. Out of the four planes, two of them were flown into the World Trade Center in New York, a third one into the Pentagon in Washington and the fourth one crashing off course into a field. Historical Context On September 11, 2001, terrorists attacked the Unites States. They hijacked airplanes in mid-flight. The terrorists flew two of the planes into two skyscrapers at the World Trade Center in New York City. During the attacks, there were 2,996 people killed and more than 6,000 others wounded.

One moment it was a normal day and the next moment will forever be ingrained within the minds of an entire nation. The first plane hit at 8:46 a.m. and the second at 9:03 a.m., leaving 2,819 people dead. September 11, 2001 will always be remembered as a day of great destruction, a day of great loss. September 11, 2001 was the day two planes flew into the World Trade Center, forever changing the way of life for all of America. Causes and Effects of 9/11 September 11, 2001 was a horrific day for all American citizens. Four American commercial flights were hijacked by Islamic extremist that would soon crash into some of the most important structures in America. From that day on we will remember the ones we lost and the ones who gave their lives to save others. This was the first major attack since Pearl Harbor in 1941 on American soil. Nineteen militants who were suicide bombers crashed into the Twin Towers, Pentagon, and a Pennsylvania field which had a central and global effect on the world caused by global terrorism increase and the spread of the group Islamic Extremist.

INTRODUCTION 9/11 is a tragedy that most people will know. Especially the citizen of New York City, United States of America. Briefly, 9/11 is a tragedy where four planes that is believed belongs to the American Airlines crashes the World Trade Centre (WTC) tower and the pentagon. The tragedy happened 11th September 2001 in the morning.

The 9/11 tragedy was a moment where people had their guard up at all times. This was a time where life had strike to reality of time warfare with every person and country. Couldn’t trust no one that came to the U.S. America is the land of the free and the home of the brave, were brave because the generations before us had to face what had happened and to what is going to happen. This had left the buildings torn instantly killing hundreds of many people, getting them stuck in the higher floors. This attack was the worst in America ever since the Pearl Harbor All over our nation saw a major impact of devastation in the face of the September 9, 2001attacks.

It showed that even the most powerful country in the world was subject to attack. This attack exposed the vulnerability of the United States as a nation. The 9/11 attacks changed the country forever; some lost family members, friends, and those who survived are forever hunted by the events of September 11, 2001. The entire country was in pandemonium including my family.

9/11 When 9/11 happened, I was almost two years old. Because I was so little, I don’t remember it at all. Almost every year, my teachers taught about 9/11, but they never really went into much detail. My knowledge prior to this assignment was that four planes were hijacked by terrorists, and three of the planes crashed into their destination.

The attacks killed 2,996 people and injured over 6,000 others. Al Qaeda terrorists hijacked four planes. Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories.

Christina had just gotten of a plane because they said that hackers hacked their plane. When she got in New York, she gasped in horror as the two planes hit the two towers.
