901 am My fondest memory from childhood would be the bond that i had with my grandfather. There were lots of memories that helped bulid that bond between the two of us. I remember the time that i was in kindergarten i use to sneak away from school to see my grandpa just because it was a special time for me and him. My step grandma would be at work and it would be just me and grandpa he would make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and then cut them across from corner to corner and cut the crust off (but back then i called it bones). Then we would sit and watch Flintstones together and then of course he would call my mom and tell her where i was at but he would stick up for me and tell her not to punish me to hard cause it was are special time
When I was around 6, I would go to my father’s house for a weekend, once a year. He never hit me and he didn’t come off as abusive to me. He was pretty controlling though.
We stayed there until the spring of fifth grade. Know I live in my still incomplete house on Glen Dr. Looking back to my childhood (well I still am a child), some good memories are with my mother in the spring sitting on our porch drinking coffee. Yes, I have drank coffee since I could sing, because my mom made us sing for a sip of coffee. We would also watch the storms come in on our porch because my mom has always loved storms and it is something that I enjoy with her.
I was pushed down, wrestled with, and experienced cuts, bumps, and bruises just like one of the boys. We would have cookouts and bonfires with corn-on-the-cob and the best hamburgers and hot dogs. We would have birthday parties that were the best I can remember. And on hot summer days we would go down to the pool to swim and play on the playground. Our nights were full of little league baseball games under the bridge at Paul J. Sciullo Field watching the pony league games just waiting for one of the big kids to crack a ball so hard it would hit the bridge.
Whenever I pulled up at his house I had gotten to hang out but then we went to bed. The next morning whenever I woke up we made Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, and Toast. We were going to eat outside because it was so nice. One thing that we had to make sure of was that we put on our bug spray because of the bad mosquitoes out there.
My favorite memory with my mom is when we took a cruise the day after christmas. It was my favorite time with my mom because I got to spend a lot of time with her. On the cruise we got off at a stop in the bahamas and we got to stop at a bunch of different shops. Then we stopped at a beach and we swam and scuba dived and hung out on the beach. We got to spend a lot of time with each other without or phones distracting us.
The memorable day in my life is when I started Detroit Job Corps. I was nervous and happy at the same time. When I woke up that day my stomach had butterflies in it, and I was sweating like it was summer time. My face felt hot, like I was going to pass out. My mother cooked a huge breakfast for me.
He was very strict but he was also very fun. I played basketball and volleyball in 5th grade. In 6th grade, I did hair and make-up for the play. In 7th and 8th grade, I was in the play with my friends Savannah, Heaven, and
when we got there she gave us hugs and we went inside we mostly watched movies sitting on the couch together. now remember. there were 7 people on one couch. of course it was crowded there were people sitting on the arms of the couch and on each others laps and stuff, but it was still fun after a while we left the house going to the mall which was maybe an hour walk from the house on the hill. we did a lot of walking since we didn't drive cars we rode bikes and skateboards or walked.
In the mornings I would see my mom because she would get me dressed and ready for school. During the afternoon when I would get out of school I would stay at home with my pawpaw. Sometimes I liked staying there with him because he was funny and had lots
The biggest memory that I had was when I was sent to foster care. It started years ago when my dad decided to drink every single day and social services didn’t think that was something kids to be around so my sister and I had to stay with my grandma for a few months. We couldn’t stay with my mom because she didn’t have a house or a job and none of her boyfriends wanted kids in their house. My mom didn’t like us staying with our grandma because she’s not a nice person to be around.
After that, we would go to our room. Then our parents thought we should get pizza, so they ordered pizza. After the pizza got there, we would eat and watch baseball games.
And I with him. Some days we sang along to songs on the radio. Some days he helped me review for a test, or maybe discuss a problem I was having at school. Most of all, it was just a great time to talk
I remember my dad setting up the hog trap with the leftover food we had after dinner. That trap is now nothing but pile of rust that lies just behind a dirt road. I remember running my fingers down the old chain link fence behind the house which was removed to expand the house. I remember waking up in the morning with the smell of bacon and staring at the particle board ceiling, making pictures out of all the random shapes. Now that board has been replaced with a nice painted boring wall.
One of my favorite memories growing up is how much time I spent reading. Whenever I got a new book I couldn 't put it down. I remember that I would always read on the bus ride home. Reading was something that I liked to do. As I’ve gotten older my choice of books has changed alot, a different genre for each of my phases.
A memorable day I my life is when I first found out I was a diabetic. I was scared and didn’t really understand what was happening. I was too sick, and for the most part out of my mind. But, what I do remember is a lot of pain and a few visitors. It wasn’t the best day and I don’t remember every detail.
