Gordon Edmonds and Sally Timms A little too much of something can sometimes be a bad thing. In David Mitchell’s Slade House, the narrator of each chapter is targeted by the Grayer twins because they all seem to be “engifted.” The Grayer twins who are considered carnivores, feed on the souls of those who may be easily manipulated. For example, Gordon Edmonds is a cop, who is your typical heroic police officer but also easily surrenders himself to women for his pleasure.
Her survival, in my opinion, is the most important part of the book. This makes her the main protagonist

Sophie Trieu Ms. DelaCruz English 3 March 30, 2023 Abigail Williams; a Villain and a Victim Have you ever told a lie that caused another person trouble? Abigail, the main antagonist of American author Arthur Miller’s play, The Crucible, does just this; however, the consequences of her deceit are far more harmful than most. Although she is a victim of inequality and abuse due to the time period the play takes place in, it does not excuse her undeniably manipulative behavior. Throughout the play Abigail lies to conceal her ever growing web of falsities, escape charges of witchcraft, and dispose of anyone who poses a threat to her. She uses deliberate language to present an innocent and pious front.
In Susan Griffin’s “Our Secret,” Griffin seems to be trying to give answer to the reasons as to why people, such as herself, grow up into their characters and what past experiences influence the behaviors they exhibit. Her focus seem to be towards the reasons for why people do the negative things. She also continues to explain how everyone contains a secret of their own and that these secrets are commonly masked by a facade and that the way these secrets may be expressed differ from person to person. In attempt to help the readers understand how our past has a huge impact on our future Himmler’s childhood is used as an example. She claims that the current state of everything in existence may have been influence or predestined by the occurrence
Rhett, the same fellow that mocked her after being rejected by Ashley also hangs around with Scarlett. Both irritating and sometimes friendly, Rhett is afraid to announce his love for Scarlett which is somewhat of a shock because his character is described as someone who takes charge. Instead of fighting in the war for either the North or South
This documentary begins by showing a white child playing and embracing a black child who’s her servant however, the narrator stated that “she turned sadly from the lovely site because she foresaw the blight that will fall on the slave heart”. When I heard that sentence I was thinking why would she be sad? Shouldn’t she be content a little for seeing a white child playing with a black child? I thought it shows a little less hate from their heart. It was rare to see a white child playing with black child because, I believe from a young age by the words and actions of their parents they would start treating a black child unfairly and see them as a lesser being let along play with them or share a hug.

She is very devoted to her family, especially Shelby. M’Lynn spend time and energy protecting her daughter. When the play begins, M’Lynn realizes that she is losing control over Shelby’s life due to the engagement.
We can totally tell because its significance brings the plot of the story. She only worried about herself at the end of the story. She begs for her life to Misfit however she doesn’t worries about her family until she has no other
