I have also built very strong relationships with my co-workers and employers. Working with Tim Hortons has helped me become more inviting to new people in my life, and has made me able to adapt to change better. It has helped my social skills as well as my personal skills. One the
One of my dreams is to be part of The National Honors Society and be part of the family; I am already part of The Spanish Language Honors Society and want to further build upon my academic career. I have demonstrated leadership, service, character, and scholarship and I hope to be inducted into the society. Even after I get inducted into the society, I will continue to volunteer in my society; as of this summer, I hope to be volunteering at Atlanticare. Volunteering in my community has been a great experience and I can not wait to extend it with a new chapter of my High School career. I am beyond thankful for being part of the first chapter of The National Honors Society and hope you will consider my
It was a pleasure talking to you, last week. Thank you for considering us to join your roster. We were so happy to learn that you are passionate about still life shooters.
I have been working in the care industry for the past three years. During these three years I 've had the opportunity to work within different care settings, from the elderly, learning disability, challenging behaviours and supported live in to name a few. Throughout this period I managed to obtain countless caring skills working in a community and hospital setting. In addition to this, it also improved my ability to communicate and interact effectively with others in a friendly and professional way at the same time. I believe I have an authentic interest in all
Going through the APPIC process and defending my dissertation proposal, I have grown more than any other year attending UNCO. I sought assistance with my APPIC application and dissertation. I learned faculty are great resources for feedback and support during this process. I also polished my curriculum vita and learned the competitive nature of APPIC internships. Personally, I learned my stress limiting by writing my dissertation proposal and applying for APPIC internships within a three month time span.
Thanks for your comments. We are blessed to be a part of this great institution, the amount of support we are receiving is enormous. The institution provides a variety of support services for online students through the “Center for Learning and Advancement.” For instance, my student services advisor functions as both an academic counselor and a financial aid resource. As I transition to the second course, the advisor is an excellent contact for assistance about the systems and resources of the school.
Furthermore, I have a heart of working overseas in the future and I am considering doing my field placement in Uganda. I have a passion for working with children in my future career. I have been a camp counselor the past two summers and it has provided me an opportunity to further my leadership abilities. Therefore, other leadership positions I have had was being a freshman connection mentor, leader for the children’s ministry at college church, junior high mentor for Youth for Christ, leader for the WRL council, and many others. I believe this semester I have balanced my school work, friends, family, and other things as well
Throughout my whole experience at Centennial, I have always wanted to join the National Junior Honor’s Society, so I feel very honored to have this opportunity to apply. Last semester, I was part of our school’s Student Council. Being in that group allowed me to see how important leadership is in our daily lives, in and outside of school. I also learned a whole lot about service, considering we had to complete one hour every week. All of these things are important, but the thing that I thought spoke to me personally was this year’s theme.
I believe it is a wonderful place to work and they truly appreciate their dedicated customers. In the past two years that I have worked at Rizzo’s, I have been witness to many proactive changes made by management. Based on my
After three and a half years, the day had finally come. It was the day that I had been looking forward to since graduating from high school. And it was the thought of the day that kept me going when it seemed far away. When the stressful days of projects, internships, essays, and assignments became overwhelming, I was able to catch a glimpse of the day that would lead me into the future. That day would not only escort me into a promising future, but would allow me to reflect on my accomplishments and show appreciation to my support team that had brought me there.
She first started off in the art room, which she got started when the center first opened. This entailed, getting funded, teaching, and mentoring. When offered another position within the learning center she leaped at it, because it allowed her to continue to work in a community and with an
The first three years of my high school career, I was a three sport student athlete. I
During the past three years as Sherry Betcher’s supervisor, I have observed tremendous professional growth not only in her skill set as The Governor John Engler’s Center for Charter Schools (“Center”) Assessment Manager, but also in her mindset as a visionary leader in the utilization of assessment data at all CMU-authorized schools. Upon reviewing Sherry’s job description, I requested that she add a few items, under the “Roles and Responsibilities” that demonstrate the additional responsibilities she has taken on during the past two years. The words added are good language for a job description, but do not fully capture the magnitude of Sherry’s day-to-day work.
Two years ago, I went on the same retreat and it completely changed my faith life and I am so glad that I got the chance to guide seventh graders closer to God and their class. My responsibilities included leading people in decorating the room the Lukers stayed in. It took so much planning and preparation to provide an exciting environment. Since I was responsible and organized, everything went perfectly as planned, and I am so gracious for the talents God has given me so that I could complete those tasks. Leadership is so crucial to any project, and I am a great leader because I recognize the importance of a good manager.
I am writing this paper after successfully completing my first half year of college on campus at Dakota Wesleyan University. I have done numerous things here during the fall semester of 2015 that have helped me mature and ultimately grow into a stronger person. My Learn Strong 101 class taught me some essentials that helped me with getting through the semester. One of the first things that I completed in this class was campus clarity. I think that this was a very helpful program.
