Nancy Reagan was born on July 6, 1923 in New York. According to what we know from Nancy’s autobiography “Nancy” her mother was a stage actress. When Nancy was six years of age her mother married Dr. Loyal Davis who took Nancy in. Nancy grew up in Chicago IL. She received her formal education and then went to college and majored in theater. Once Nancy finished college she was part of a road company before landing the lead role on Broadway. After that she countuied with her acting career. She was part of eleven films from 1949 to 1956. In the movie “Hellcats of the Navy” she played the opposite roll of her husband. Nancy met her husband in 1951. They were married the next year.
