A hero is someone who puts others before themselves. Heroic acts can range from small gestures to saving countless lives. Heroes are known for their outstanding achievements and being calm in life changing situations. Betty Ong was a hero because she was selfless and courageous and sacrificed herself for others. There are many types of hero, fictional, historical, and modern day. Odysseus was a historical hero, who saved his home of Ithaca. He had so many heroic traits, such as, bravery, courage, caring, loyalty, determination, and so much more. Fictional, modern day and other historical heroes have many of these traits as well. Therefore, the word hero has not changed.
Hero to me is someone who goes out his way protecting the people, out of will. Hero who is idealized by the people. Put himself in danger to save others, doesn't just do it for the fame or glory. Hero is brave and will stop evil at any cost, just for the sake of the people.
At least one time in our life we have been asked “who is your hero?” What really is a hero? Going out of their way, a hero benefits everyone. The attributes a hero must have in order to be considered hero include being patient and complaisant, even with the most frustrating people, willing to help anyone, friend or foe, and being humble even though they are constantly praised and awarded for the heroic things they do. The late George Griffith, father and grandfather, best exemplified these qualities and is considered a hero to many. George Griffith is a hero because he was patient and complaisant, even the most frustrating and annoying people. George had four children and ten grandchildren and all throughout his life he has never yelled or has never been angry at them. John Griffith,
We all have heroes. My question to you is what makes a hero a hero? I believe that a hero has to be courageous and they have to have a passion for what they are doing. A hero has to be loving and patient. My hero is a very, very beautiful girl.
In the end, a hero is more than just physical traits like strength and supernatural powers. Being a hero means being selfless, brave and putting other people before yourself. Victor best fit this description because he sacrificed years of his life, and even his own life knowing it would benefit the rest of the world. The determination, braveness, courage and devotion Victor had for a single experiment that could go wrong is true heroism.
