A Celebration of Success Take a moment to look deep into your heart. What are your desires in life? Who do you want to be? Once you find the answers to these questions, let them be the guiding lights throughout your life story. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Our dreams are the foundation, the building blocks, of a story that is yet to be written. Though they may seem premature or maybe even a little crazy, our dreams become the focal point of our story. Throughout the narrative, we are sure to encounter conflicts and speed bumps that threaten our dream. But this cannot keep us from writing our story. No, we must take up our pen and keep on writing word upon word upon word. We keep on writing until our story has become our success story. Success stories can start anywhere at anytime. A child experiencing the Olympics for the first time realizes their story starts on the tennis court, or a college student attending a play and realizes their narrative starts on the stage. Though we must all discover the first chapter of our story, it is important to remember that the power to write our own narrative lies within each of us. Every success story takes grit and persistence to reach its conclusion. There is always going to be someone who will want to burn the pages of our story.
